I didnt see his earlier "strike" so i can only assume it was worse for him to get 6 weeks all up.

253 points for early pleas on both striking charges and 112 points for an early plea with the spray he gave the touchie.

it puts Joel Monghan in good stead for a debut, he is one of the hardest working backs in the comp from hooker on the front end of sets off the try line, tall enough to counteract the Maroon's leapers and he's sound defensively. Given quality ball, which he'll get in origin, he is a capible and handy finisher too.

Hodges deserves more for being an all-round blight on the game imo
that tackle was disgusting and the way he taunted Riddell as he was led off the field is proof of his intent.
Hayne's tackle was stupid and late but relatively harmless... not worth 2 weeks. Give him 1 and throw the other at big Sam.. his tackle on Hauraki looked twice as bad.

1) Hodges tackle was nothing. He shouldn't even get a week.
2) O'donnell is right to be peed off. Great player. Tough player. Being tough means you get picked on these days. Crocker prime example.
3) Jarred Haynes almost wasn't worthy of a penalty (get dropped on your back in todays game is too upsetting is it?)
4) Cuthbertson's tackle was borderline penalty.

Jezuz - I wish this game would go back to the tough days...you guys remember right? When we had CHARACTERS in the game?
