Saints are a team you love or hate. Unfortunately all the dudes in charge of officiating hate Saints.

V'Landys being a Wollongong boy I thought may help a bit but he can do nothing I suppose when it comes to officiating.

I hate it when you hear and see media guys talking about games etc on TV (even Radio) and they tend to talk us down. Freddy Fittler wore a Roosters tie for the Anzac Day clash and I know he played for them, but why be blatant? They should not show any bias at all.

The officials including the bloody bunker refs are another story altogether and I'm sure there is favouritism given to teams we play against especially the top 4-5.

V'Landys has a soft spot for us but obviously he cannot show any bias/favouritism and he relies on the officials to do the right thing ....yeah right!

St George Illawarra forward duo Josh Kerr and Paul Vaughan have been cited by the NRL match review committee following Friday night's golden point loss to the Sharks.

Kerr was charged with a grade one shoulder charge on Sharks prop Aiden Tolman late in proceedings. An early guilty plea will see Kerr miss the Dragons' Indigenous Round clash against the Wests Tigers.

Paul Vaughan has been slapped with a monetary punishment for his tackle on Sharks centre Will Chambers; a hit that saw him sin-binned midway through the first half. An early guilty plea for Vaughan carries a $1600 fine.

The Dragons have until midday, Sunday to decide each players' fate.

What a joke...chambers was falling in the tackle....I have just about had a gut-full....If this is what the NRL wants...then just Turn it into oz -tag....

How did Kaufusi not get sited/10 in the bin for the contact with norman's head last Week ?.... Someone in the media needs to point this out....

Im with you, Vaughans couldnt have been any Lower , if that is what the nrl wants then im thinking to just give up watching this shit, my Head says f@## them but heart Loves the Dragons

Same...maybe if we all cancel our foxtel and kayo then they may get the hint...They have already ruined our season....can't be bothered anymore....creates too much anger watching the game...I no longer enjoy it...and at the end of the day , that is why we all watch sport for....

Agree....the Hit on Ramsey would have been a send off if something similar occurred to an elite player like Tedesco/Papenhuzen etc....They have essentially ruined our season....I feel for Griffin bigtime....

Again...how did they miss the Kaufusi hit on norman last week...flush with the head...no sin bin, no suspension...NOTHING....yet Vaughan hits a player who is falling and gets binned and a fine....

It is no longer enjoyable watching this biased rubbish....Just reduce the comp to 4 teams...Roosters/Storm/Penrith/Souths and the NRL will be happy....

Didn't even notice Kerr's but Vaughan should fight on principle.

Why can’t the NRL change to a penalty system with fines for the player and Club and keep the games 13 on 13.
If there is a major high shot etc it is still a send out like it has been for years but let’s stop these petty sin bins esp for the accidents and players dropping in tackles.
Example would be if hit in the head accidentally or minor it’s a penalty and that’s it on field.
Then the match review team can review the next day and issue fines to the club and player so we avoid a heap of suspensions.
Fines could be a set figure and or percentage of salary so that way it’s fair for all (currently a $1,650 fine for a player on $800,000 is ash tray change).
Games 13 v 11 are bullshit and if players keep getting suspensions for minor issues then each team soon will not be able to name a 17.
By doing something like this the brand can continue with even entertaining football but still is doing the right thing for players health with penalties applying hitting the hip pocket.
We don’t want any player getting concussions etc but we need a smarter balance to what we are all frustratingly watching now.

Makes too much sense....and I will add to that...will not happen unless clubs like the roosters or Storm want it implemented....

No one in the media will because they answer to news limited, they are scared to go against the line of power

I was surprised we didn’t challenge some of the gradings last week.

Kerr gone for next week but we get Sims back. As long as we don’t have any injuries & Feagai & Ramsey pass HIA’s we’ll give the Tigers a decent crack on Friday
