Junior Sharks in finals this week best of luck to both of our teams

http://www.sharks.com.au/news/2015/04/14/jnr_reps_finals_week.html

The Sharks junior rep teams both face challenging elimination matches in week one of the competition finals on Saturday.

The Matthews Cup Sharks despite a last round loss to Souths finished in fifth position on the points table which sees them match up against the eighth-placed Manly Sea Eagles at Campbelltown Stadium.

Impressive in consecutive victories over the Steelers and Dragons the Sharks had slight hiccup in their finals regular season match at Redfern Oval in going down by 20-10 but will head into the Manly match confident of a bold showing.

In the SG Ball the Sharks had to do it the hard way, wins in their last two games against St George and Souths seeing them slip into eight position on the competition table, setting up a clash with the Parramatta Eels.

The Sharks played the Eels earlier in the year, with the Parramatta side running out comfortable winner back in round two, in a match which saw the Sharks lose two players to serious injuries in the first half of that match.

The SG Ball match is scheduled for an 11.30am kick off at Pepper Stadium in Penrith.

The Sharks have released team lists for both games.

Kyle Flanagan should be sacked.

I'd say Jaiden Brown will take his spot.

The SG ball fellas seem to be getting momentum at the right time especially with injured players coming back.

Billy the greek is a freak

Justin Timu is a wrecking ball

Jesse Savage just doesn't stop!

Should be a good game

Be interesting to see after Junior comp finished how many of the ball players get promoted to u20's this year.

Wonder if Gus will be at the Harold Matthews game.

Its good to see our juniors in the finals

He actually goes well for a young fella.

Not much of him but has a go. He is a great organiser.

Don't quote me on this but I think he is playing up an age. He was called up as Jaiden Brown broke his jaw in one of the earlier games this year.

Credit where it's due though, he can play!!!

Snoop - any idea how Hayden Bishop is going. Has he Had a chance to show anything.

He made the final cut but never got a run. He had some stiff competition in a pretty decent team. I know he had some sort of foot injury but even still would not have made the 17

I expect a few of these boys from SG ball to be called into NYC.

Apart from those forwards I mentioned earlier keep an eye out for Josh Tuilagi to sky rocket into NYC once this comp is over.

Absolute beast.

We got him from QLD although he has only been in Australia for 2 or 3 years originally from across the ditch. In that time he managed to represent QLD in the under 17's. Honestly his speed and size is just frightening considering his age.

I just hope we are smart enough to secure his services beyond this year. He could be anything.

Think Manu Vatuvei as a basketball player(with a man bun)

Hey Snoop,

Random question as I haven't been able to see any of the games. However if these kids are so good, how come we seem to have scraped into the finals?

Always excited to see the young kids play well and progress through the ranks.... even if we sourced them from somewhere else :p

I think I read Val was recruited by Shepard, any idea who's tracking down these young kids?
