Anybody has to be an mprovement on Elliot - he is a strange coach.

I think Brown has given up slapping players.

Queue gaba and game plans rant.

Brown hasn't been doing to bad in England.

Don't be surprised if they do well under him.

Good luck to him.

Browny was a decent coach, however was a bit too close the players IMO to truly have the full respect of the players. He needed to harden up a little and not in the face slapping manner too lol. The guy was very passionate and I was of the opinion that he could one day develop into a handy NRL coach given time. The downside was that Browny coached a very undisciplined team at the time and could never get the boys to focus and grind out wins.

Brown will be a different coach having players under him that he didnt play along side of.
Different, yes. Better, maybe.

Hope he gets the gig. I would love to see him given another chance in the NRL.

If he goes well at the Panthers and Pricey has a bad couple of seasons, they can get him back with some additional NRL experience.

Deserves a crack anywhere else but with us. Think he might actually help them & is actually a slight improvement on Elliott. Never thought i'd be saying that ay....

Brownie will turn them around through junior development.

What Elliott has done out there and in Canberra before is rubbish in the regard.

All what the players have to do is execute the game plans, that what let Brownie down at the dragons.

The players didnt execute the game plans enough

Done well in England - and the 3 year break from the NRL will be good for him

Not a bad choice for Panthers imo

Don't crucify me but I guess winning the Premiership last year has softened my stance towards Brown. Nothing will change the fact we should have won at least one competition under him but that is then and right now is a golden period for our club. I actually think he'd do a good job with Penrith, they have a few attacking players out there and no doubt that is his strength (or was) as a coach. Good luck to him.

Brown's major problem was as failure to communicate
He would not tell the players if they were doing poorly and speak frankly to them. He would acquiesce to senior player's demands and not run his own race.
Experience and age will improve him
Good luck to him, he was a Dragon's man and deserves a second chance in the NRL
