What was the basis of the Cowboys being allowed to use a captain’s challenge?
There was no call made beside the game being finished.
Can we expect every close game from now on to have a captain’s challenge for everything that happened in the last play?

You've got to scratch your head at why Kepaoa was so stupid to run such an obvious line with no intention to go for the ball.

As Slater said in commentary, we all know what he is doing regardless of where he is looking.

Yes Felt took a massive dive and he had zero chance of getting the ball, but sorry, it wasn't the ref's it was Kepaoa that cost the tigers the win.
You can't run across field? Happens in every nrl game with zero repercussions. Cmon now

He didn't even blow the end of the game. He was waiting for that lollipoper Klein to give him advice. There was no final whistle

At the end of the day, the Bunker needs to be reigned right in to have as little involvement in games as possible. Right down to try scoring situations and captains challenges (legitimate ones, you know in regular time?). Thank you, goodbye, the end.

Also friendly reminder that Ashley Klein refereed all three Origin games this season. That's the NRL telling us "This is the best we can offer" when it comes to refereeing....I mean fair dinkum, no wonder this comp is as f**ked as it is.

Weird as f**k

Look I've seen lots of worse escort penalties. I think Kepoa probably knew exactly what he was doing.

But I have NFI what the bunker was saying to Elon Legohead Butler or what stoppage allowed for a challenge? Just a wholly bizarre period of NRL

Just a case of big brain Chad recognising that the referee blowing his whistle is technically a stoppage in play, which allows him to call for a challenge. Nowhere in the rule does it specify that it has to be a penalty challenge. Great call!

Refs may try their best to make up for it next week.

Won't matter Broncos will smack them.
