Was listening to Radiosport this afternoon, Matt Gunn's show between 3 and 4pm, and Steve Price rang up talkback. He said Justin Poore had just rung him to apologise for what he had done in Origin, Poore had apparently asked a mutual friend whether Steve would take the phonecall, he had been worried Steve wouldn't take the phonecall. Steve accepted the apology, Poore had had people stopping him in the street asking him why he had done it. Possibly he was also a bit worried about this weekend.

Apology aside, I would like to know what the hell he was doing. At the time I remember he said he 'couldn't remember doing it'. Sorry doesn't always cut it.

I say smash em and smash em good. The Warriors need to look after there skipper I mean look at the Tigers after the Watts shot next scrum and he was sorted out and Coach Sheens said it had to be done.

Sort him out Boys

I agree Glenn but there is no harm in using a bit of passion and something to fire us up - as long as you keep a handle on it. After the effort against the Dogs a fortnight ago, i'm sure you'd agree it could have done with it.

I'm with you the team has been lacking that little edge and I hope firing up over this and firing up cause they are playing the top team can take them to a victory.

Yeah I listen to Radiosport all day, been on the road and all.

That was a disgusting incident. Im sure it was all in the heat of the moment, and come Sunday it will be time to get on with the footy not the biff.

Who said there was anything wrong with it ?????

The post directly before him

Which forward pack is more imposing?

8. Sam Rapira 9. Ian Henderson 10. Steve Price (c) 11. Simon Mannering 12. Ben Matulino 13. Micheal Luck (vc)

8. Justin Poore 9. Nathan Fien 10. Michael Weyman 11. Dean Young 12. Ben Creagh 13. Neville Costigan

I say the Dragons'. Apart from Creagh, they can all hold their own

Gee Meth,

Don't know, both great pack of forwards and will be a tremendous battle. Don't forget, you guys have the home ground which will make a difference up to a point.

Don't worry too much about Creagh, I reckon he will be there when the whips are craken.. I really don't believe he is afraid of a stoush, he's just a smart player who doesn't like fisticuffs on the field. Anyone who plays first grade footy and Origin on top of that has to be a brave man.

I really cannot understand how you guys are not further up the ladder. Reasonable coach, great forwards, a couple good backs, playmakers, etc. Its a strange competition this year indeed.

Creagh is the best second rower in the game right now for mine. It doesn't matter at all that he isn't up to much with the fists.

If you look at our pack-

Henderson- scrappy, but largely a pest-type player
Matulino- can put on a big hit

That's about it

One player makes all the difference, comparitively-

Neville Costigan.

And when Jeremy Smith gets back, St George will be even tougher
