Wasn't high but was late and a bit of unnecessary grub at the end but geez we are going soft and making halfbacks protected species. I bet if he was a NSW star he wouldn't have been charged!

Id be happy to see a sinbin for these late hits and thats all. Let the team impinged get the benefit not the team they play the following week.

JWH is a cat. He always is the third person in a tackle never hits the forwards one on one. He shows his true character each week. A coward.

He is allowed to drive through the tackle. His head was just in an unfortunate spot.
Therefore its just unfortunate he'll be suspended. Play hard, play fair, dont hit someones brain. pretty simple rule. JWH purposely drives his shoulder into the head of an opponent as they hit the ground.

lol It was not high...

Bleeds from the mouth, clearly around the knees.

Buy some glasses.

I was assured by roosters supporters that Ponga’s head was indeed in an unfortunate position.
It wasn’t actually on top of his neck during that tackle.
It was located on his chest.

A bit like the excuse for Napa leading with the head....

That's 3 in a row we have lost at the judiciary.

It's a conspiracy.
We're still paying the price for when Freddy roasted a certain panel members missus all those years ago.

Two weeks for this...

But a mere "concerning act" notice (or was it a fine?) to Josh McGuire for a blatant eye gouge.

Brilliant work as usual, MRC.

Christ, there's even an article linked above that clearly points out why he was suspended. I don't think too many sane people have tried to say that the initial contact was high.

Good riddance Jared Warea-Hargreaves.

Put your feet up during Origin but not too much...think about what you've done.

He isnt suspended for whats in the photo. I have no problem with that. Its what comes after it, on his toes launches his body and drives shoulder into the head and smashing it into the ground.- deliberate dog act.

Other than that it was a slightly late but good hit.- penalty and move on. Smash the f**kers by all means but leave the brain alone.

As they say, a leopard can't change it's spots. Just like Kiwi international Jared Warea-Hargreaves can't change his violent nature on the rugby league field (Or as Jared would call it, the field of battle).

3 weeks will do nicely.
