We have gone backward sinse last year, and I can't see us improving next year under the current system. Either time for SK to walk or the board make the call.

Allgood was good last year.
Poore was good the year before.
Hayne is one of the most talented players in the world.

If the coach can't get them to play well, and resorts to the puppet trick of sacking Sandow for a week and then bringing him off the bench - well, you can hardly blame the players for not trying can you?
He's sending them out there with geniused game plans and no defensive structure to speak of. I could coach a team of under 15s to score a try against us every 4th set of 6 --> all you need to do is send it 2 passes wide behind 2 dummy runners into the hands of a fast guy. TRY.

And apparently this is the way SK spent the last 5 months teaching them to defend? :crazy:

I actually feel sorry for kearney. he seems a nice man and all but he isnt the eels answer, not even close. i think he will walk this week which is probably the right decision, for both parra and for SK.

SK doesnt deserve all the blame here. we have a very ordinary team and thats not entirely his fault due to paying out players etc.

46-12 isnt a poorly coached side. its a team that lacks passion and determination to get the best out of themselves. they need to work hard too you know, not just turn up o training and have SK run 400 laps for them....

i could understand your point about kearney on the back of the Knights loss, but seriously...

agree with almost everything you have said here OMC, except for the fact that the players have to shoulder some of the blame as well for a lack of pride. Other than Matuia and Mannah, the team showed no pride. BTW I wish Reni would have really hit Ennis the cat hard. I hate that grub.

ID walk now with the hope of getting a gig elsewhere down the track. If he keeps going as is he really could be the worst coach in history to have coached first grade!

What a nobody he is, think about it. He is the current NZ coach. He tried to sign Adam Blair and failed. Matt Duffie - fail. Isaac Luke - fail. All current NZ internationals. The only players he has been able to attract is a former Kiwi star on the scrap heap ie Ben Roberts, Sandow whom he had to pay overs for and then sack him after 8 weeks and a Mormon not even here.
