It's all about the $$$$ if he walks he gets nothing if he gets sacked he gets paid out.

And - in the best interests of the club - what a shame the same Board who gave DA a pay out now don't have the balls to give the poorer performing SK the same :?

Yeah well when I say walk I assume he'd still arrange a partial payout. The pressure must be getting to him surely and it's only going to get worse after tonight. Really it's in the best interests of both parties he bites the bullet now.

I've stood by SK but it's time he goes

Our defense was good last year despite losing now we are leaking points left right and centre. How come the big change in desire?

SK has put the players offside somehow and it's not just hayne.

Bring in a bloke who won't take shit but also knows how to coach

I think even Stephen Kearney's most ardent supporters on this forum must be thinking he just has to step down after tonight. Maybe even Poupou.

Nice work identifying the the problems SK, we can all do that from sitting in the stands in the living room, it's up to him to solve the problems though. He's had enough time to do that, and if he can't it is time to go.

I would be giving 15 don't come monday notes to our top 25 before sacking SK. For starters I do not want to see Justin Poore ever again!! :p

i thought a coach's job was to instruct not tell them to work it out on the field. football players are not the brainiest of people

im not allowed to have my opinion, i see...

its the old protect the players it isnt there fault they are under performing excuse again...

wake up to yourself.

46-12 isnt a poorly coached side. its a team that lacks passion and determination to get the best out of themselves. they need to work hard too you know, not just turn up o training and have SK run 400 laps for them....

i could understand your point about kearney on the back of the Knights loss, but seriously...

Anyone who has played team sports wouldn't agree with that, an unhappy dressing room or culture causes teams to stop working together like we are seeing.

For whatever reason he has lost the players as they are not putting in for him.

NEXT!

That's a justified response, some of the players had shockers. Just have to ask why though.

If we won tonight then I'd have stood by him

But bulldogs are an enemy of ours and being drubbed by 30 odd points by a team who have halves that consist of kk then there is something wrong

It's time for SK to go. But the board stands by him

How about earning your pay, how about a little pride...the players have lost themselves - suck it in and do their job ffs

Need to repeat a post on another thread: A poor quality service on a car by a mechanic (the coach) can have it go well for a very short period of time before the poor quality service issues kick in. Then you have to take the car back to the service manager/s of the business (the board of directors) to rectify the mechanical issues that should have been done in the first instance. Spark plugs and faulty hoses, etc, were not replaced and areas of the engine needed to be cleaned thoroughly/properly. These issues are similar to what a coach has to do to get a squad of brains working together as a unit and performing at maximum pottential on the field. The coach and the board of directors are obviously out of their depth and need to go ASAP. Their standard is very poor.

with any other team if they get thumped by 30 (unless they are weakened by injuries etc) they usually bounce back with an improved effort the next week but not us

whatever is wrong with our club, it isn't just the head coach's fault.

there is talent in our team. we for whatever reason aren't seeing it work as often as it should be. we seem to have many fractures across the football side of it between players and between players and coaching staff.

no it isnt his fault but if he cant fix it lets give someone else a try

I listen to the experts mate, and they keep supporting him. Other coaches rate him and keep urging Parra to stick with him, and they wouldn't risk their credibility over a dud.

Maybe these problems can only be solved by player turnover? That's not something you can easily do in the middle of a season.

Well if he is a dud and they know it maybe they see it as one less competetive team to play against...
