So why do we need time? he has been in charge for almost 2 years now, Rugby League isn't rocket science, it is a quite basic game, any structures or any changes etc would have been implemented and gelled along time ago, their simply is no excuse.

Just a question to the believers and optimists. If we get the spoon should Kearney be sacked ?

if we get the spoon then kearney should be given the first six weeks of 2013 to show he is worth keeping to get this plan working. if at that point we are still a mess then (if i were one of the decision makers) i'd be letting him go and bringing in the next guy.

i said earlier in the year if he gets us to the finals then extend him by a year, but finals don't look a realistic outcome this year.

ps. on the whole sk clause for hoppa's contract i am pretty sure hoppa talked about being coached by sk when he signed and about the same time there was talk of extending kearney's contract, which i thought was weird.

the board should be honest with themselves. If you had asked them during the offseason what they expected during the year they would have said with the team kearney has assembled top 8 would have been a minimum. They would have told you there is no chance of us being 1 from 10.

Kearney spent big over the offseason alot more than our previous 2 coaches have had to spend. He outlayed big money on our weakest position the 7. Even upgraded our 5/8. Added depth to our forward pack. Bought a internaional centre. Even splurged on a couple of outside centres to compliment willie tonga.

Everyone on here said it was the second year he would show how good a coach he is especially the captain of the kony fan club. So far he has failed tactically & mentally.

Hopoate was still gonna be coming in 2014 so the fact some have said he doesnt have hopoate is utter rubbish. Kony knew the situation when he signed him. He assumed we would be flying & hoppa would be the icing on the cake.

He is failing & should not be sacked on last years debacle he should be put on high alert for his team performing this year. The board have done everything to help him & he is failing them. He is completly responsible as he said he wanted full control when he took over.

The truth is we signed the wrong assistant. McGuire was the man who built his reputation on his football knowledge & coaching the junior grades. As kearneys whole reputation has been on his playing ability.

We signed a lemon & if we are near wooded spoon come round 16 he should be shown the door & someone new brought in. The should have awyers go over his contract & if he has failed any kpi's that he originally signed than do not pay him his remaining year contract money
