Football aside as Kearney has full control apparently
What are they doing bad?

Football aside... This is a football club. Whatever decisions they've made has resulted in us being far and away the worst performing football club in the entire comp by a huge margin.

Thats like ordering a bowl of soup in a restaurant and finding a rubber band and a razor blade in it and going home satisfied saying "well apart from that razor blade which cut my tongue in half, that was a great meal"

Maybe coaches realise the team's performance isn't all down to them? How do you rate Bennett's performance so far this year? Has he forgotten how to coach?

Bennett has been great they have won 4 games, we could only dream of those dizzy heights.......

It's ok though, it is his first year, it doesn't matter, you need to judge him next year, remember?

Bring in Sticky, before someone else grabs him.

Even though I don't agree with all his team selections, what he has done for both Cronulla and NSW in regards to camaraderie, belief and passion, is totally what we need here at Parra.

Taylor is a hack and not many players would relish being coached by him at NRL level. Sticky can also attract quality players, something we haven't had at Parra since B. Smith left.

I think he is now the overwhelming favourite for exactly the reasons you stated.

Mate I'm not the one saying coaches need to be judged on their immediate results. I reckon both Kearney and Bennett are focusing on rebuilding their clubs.

If they do that right the wins will come.

I believe that Stephen Kearney has performed amazingly well since he took over last year. He has implemented the integral Rugby League structures including a five year plan and of course the ever-important pyramid.

Now naturally, I think that just like any employee in any business that performs to a high degree he deserves to be rewarded with a promotion so what role do you think Stephen should be promoted to?

I think he should be promoted to janitor of the stadium's amenities blocks... He's obviously great at cleaning up s**t.

Two seasons is a decent enough spell for a coach - it's not like we're sacking them after single seasons.
This is the part of our club's structure that irks me. Ideally the club should be strong through its roots in junior reps all the way up, and with the junior base we have it shouldn't be that hard to do at those base levels. But it doesn't seem like anything is filtering up to our u20s and senior teams, and suggest that whatever plans are being implemented aren't working or aren't expected to work for a fair while, which if that's the case, is rubbish.

I don't mind missing the finals or having a crap season every 2-3 years but we've been crap for a bit and seem to be going backwards without anything coming through to lift the team.

I wish I parra now at least resembled parra when Brian smith took over or collingwood when Mick malthouse started there.

I don't know if you've been watching, but Wenty are going very well. As they say, it all starts with a strong reserve grade.

Unfortunately we have two of them.

Who's "they" ?

I would have thought that a decent top 25 would have been better, who win enough games to be one of the better sides and coached by abloke who has half an idea.

I don't know if you've noticed but every club uses over 30 players in their 'top 25' (the official top 25 plus the seond tier of full-time players) and each week half of them can't play in the NRL team.

Hence, reserve graders.
