Me negative and for all your belief and positivity the best you can come up with is "we should make top 4" and to top it off you have said the next 5 games (including the Roosters game just played) are all easy.
No doubt your 50c for us to make top 4 really lowered the bookies odds.
they're all easy games. was i wrong? trial match on sunday looking forward to it.

Well obviously you don't read very well as you have failed to see the positivity I have posted so best you go back and read them all.
You and others fail to see that people like me do actually enjoy the ride but our optimism is tempered by the cold hard reality of what has happened the past 3 years, when we have been in nearly identical positions.
You already know I would drop Latimore so don't bother to ask again and re blooding the younger players I would have them playing a lot more than 0 or 7 minutes as has been the case this year for Sele & Host.
You refer to LL and I agree I wouldn't have had him there in the 1st place but to lump his poor performance onto the shoulders of all other young players is ridiculous on your part.
Funny how you have no faith in changing what we are currently doing and whilst i like what we are currently doing (result wise) I have no faith that is sustainable and in both scenarios the younger players are at the heart of it and there is no doubt that other clubs and coaches seem to be able to get the younger players into the top grade and keep them there and we are clearly unable to do so.
So is it just that our young players are all useless or is there something deficient in the way we do it?.

I could see that we were going to be better off at the end of this year, than last year, before the season started. We are the form team of the comp. Our forwards are going better than any other pack in the comp. Our halves are the form pair of halves in the comp.

Those who have eyes shall see.
So you see no similarities from previous years re bench usage and potential player fatigue?
By the way those that prematurely ejaculate normally do it on their own hand so best you get a glove or keep the tissues handy.
Remember we started 15 and 17 off as one of the favourites for the spoon. We certainly were not expected to make the semi's those years. i didn't expect us to make the semi's those years, did you?
Re making the semis those years you mentioned whilst I didn't expect to get there before the season started I am of the belief that considering the start we had to those seasons we should have made the semis and bad coaching and tactics cost us both times.

Yeah, we should make the top 4 from here. If we had Melbourne's 1 to 5, then I would be saying that we should either win the comp or at least come second. I am still not entirely happy with Nightingale, Aitken and Lafai, they are going alright, but they still have deficiencies. Dufty also has deficiencies, but hopefully he can improve them.

Can you please inform me when any other coach who missed the semis in the last three years mage the GF the next year. Not only that, the other intelligent points I put in paragraph has gone straight over your head. I am not surprised
But we could have made the finals with the squads we had.
That's the point.
This years roster is stronger so expectations should be much higher anyway.

Injuries also cost us both of those years. We didn't have a recognised halfback both of those years either. We also had a fullback who handicapped our attack and ate up too much of our salary cap, without producing his worth, in both of those years.

So you have gone from thinking we will miss the top 8 at the start of the year to saying anything less then making the Grand Final will be a failure? lol Now come on Old Timer. lol

Couldn’t have no half back, sims, Vaughan now playing out of there skin. We now have Graham and some gave Nenhe a shot of do something. Big difference from last year

I really don’t give a stuff if people agree or not. I don’t want people to buy in at all.’i
Had the guts to State my honest opinion

It’s all good, mate.
I was just being jovial with a bit of ‘tongue in cheek’ comment.
As you say, you had the guts to state your thoughts.

I'm happy to wait and see how McGregor goes for the rest of the year. Too many letdowns in the past for me to be confident though.

And the facts are we have been in this very position before and crumbled so let's see where we are at the 3/4 mark of the season.
On the basis of what you have seen thus far where do you estimate we should finish at regular seasons end and will you consider anything below that a failure?
Top four or two!miss the eight sack Mary see not that hard

Again I question the belief of people who have posted so positively and been hell bent on dismissing anyone with any negativity and then you guys take the insurance policy of missing the top 8 as the criteria for sacking him.
So as far as you're concerned it doesn't matter that we miss the top 7 spots as long as we limp into 8th it's a pass mark and he keeps his job.
No attempt by the optimists to be optimistic and raise the bar.
You dream about top 4 or maybe even 2 but you really don't want to use it as a criteria for what is acceptable.
FMD for all the stuff that has been written about how good it all is and how Mary has turned the corner improving 1 lousy spot on the ladder is good enough for you.
Impossible for me to even consider that as acceptable.

I think from here we need to finish top 4. It's a long season, anything can happen.
5th to 8th I personally think he should be removed from his position.
9th or lower, burnt at the stake.
