Keep the subforum open - or not?

What to do with the forum?

When I opened this sub-forum the idea was for it to run for the AMNRL season and then American topics would be sent back to the main forum.

Now I am in two minds. The forum has been great during the season (great work Tomahawk in making sure all topics got a run - and many thanks to Spinner and other contributors), and I think it could be worthwhile to have it running in the off season to discuss new clubs and signings etc - but we could have the problem of it becoming a ghost town of course.

Another option is that I rename it something like 'Atlantic WC elimination games + AMNRL developments' - but we have other sub-forums for WC discussion.

Bottom line - I will keep it open if people think it will be used in the off season.

Not many votes - but all to keep the forum open.

I asked for it to be renamed 'American NRL forum' from 'AMNRL 2006 forum'.

It will stay open.

This is one of the few outlets the Yanks have to tell the rest of the RL world about any breaking news . The official AMNRL site is updated at too irregular an interval for me . I just hope people like Tomahawk , Spinner and the other American / American based posters can stick with it and relay any off season news here . I would also like to see posters from other teams like the Fight , the Warriors etc. on here . Thanks for this Roopy .

I am going to try to keep some intresting topics going on. I have also tried to get some of the other players in the AMNRL to post. I'll try my best.

I do have 1 request for Roppy, "can you delete all the old threads?"

I think it should stay open, while I don't think I have ever actually posted in here before I will usually go and have a look at all the new threads in here when i'm on LU, it's nice to know what's going on in the USA.

I got you PM about this. I don't really know why you want to. All the old threads do is take up a bit of webspace - and LU is not having a problem with that.
If a new poster comes in here and has questions about the last season - they can read the old posts and pretty much get the picture.

If having old threads around really gets up your nose you can take them out if you want.

I agree.

Plus there is plenty of news and discussion as well as the world cup qualifers to keep talk happening.

Kamala,
I saw your poster all over the city today advertising your festival.
Why the change of venue? toolbox instead of the manhole?
