HAhaah, I was hardly serious. I went to school with him and used to play against him in the backyard back in the day.

Wasn't a half-arsey innings either, he hit it superbly. Snagged a 70 one knock this year as well. Got some talent, obviously nowhere near the Australian side, hasn't even cemented his place in the Tassie line up.

it says to me that his form last year was crap and now he's going through a honeymoon period with the Vics

Yeah you can judge form from someone who played the 1st and last match of the summer and none in between between as they chose Marsh, Langer and Ronchi ahead of him :roll:

I just reckon they should have got more runs...this game and last they really gave it away at the end of an innings that was headed for 200+. And then they bowled, what, 15-20 extras? They probably should have won IMO and if I were Manou I'd be livid.

Was good to watch White go off though, he might not be able to bowl to save himself but he can sure hit a ball. Blizzard didn't really get going which was disappointing...biggest hitter in the country I reckon

SA should have got 200 the way they were going, and that last over well talk about f**king up. It's a shame White can't bowl because gee can he hit a cricket ball.

I didnt see the last game, although they still got quite a good score for only 17 overs and a wet night, but the main reason we are so good is our bowlers, our batsmen can chase anything, but the bowlers are quite good at restricting scores, even when teams get off to a flier

But SA does lack a true big hitter like a White or Blizzard, they hit some 6's tonight but at the death they just lost wickets, they may have been better trying to get Afridi or similar instead of a bowler
