Kimmorley might be gone!!

Fact: Kimmorley is better than Sullivan is, Kimmorley has achieved more than Sullivan ever will, and Kimmorley will always be a better option than Sullivan.

Reefy, who'd you complain about in the years up to 2001 (before Anderson & Kimmorley)?

When I read his post about the 76-4 thrashing of Wales, I was thinking exactly that. Then I thought, what the hell would Reefy do with his time if the improbable happened and Anderson was sacked and Kimmorley was released? So I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to that one myself.

Reefy, I respect your opinion, but you are beginning to sound a little like a one track record. Perhaps you could bag a couple of the other players from time to time to vary it a little and ease the monotony.

I've always been resigned to the fact that as long as Kimmorley is at the club, Sully will always be the second-string halfback. But I will still say that we have only seen rare glimpses of how great Sully can be. Apart from the Dragons game, there was his try against Manly (even though he bombed one soon after :( )

Nobody.
& at the signing of Anderson I was actually happily intrigued, initially.
But as everone with at least 50% grey matter now knows, wrong choice.

Better hope that Noddy & Opes hang around then.

This place would get very boring without your rantings....as broken record like as they me be

I would actually prefer it if Kimmorley hung around.
Whilst I dislike the guys attitude to team/harmony/spirit/work immensely, I think with adjustment he can only be good for the club.

Ando can do as he pleases, just not at the Sharks.

If Ando and BK can produce the goods I am happy. I will still be supportive even if they dont, but I hate the criticism they get, and I will be happy as long as there is no controversy. Its a shit.

RE Sully. He is a good little players, and when the time comes, I would like to see him be the man who steps up for replacing BK. Which I hope is not in the immediate future.

The B-side of the broken record is played by a band called the Ando apologists.

This news is fair dinkum by the way. They had signed Ferris who renneged because he got a coaching deal somewhere. They are without a half back & are slipping down to relegation standards. They just got a new prop.

In order to put this rumour into perspective I would like to point out that Jason Ferris signed as captain/coach of the Wollongong Collegians first grade side. Tooheys League.

Whilst I would have to go and grab my AGM booklet, I think it would be reasonable to assume that if they couldn't beat Collies to get Ferris, then Kimmorley might not be moving.

Then again.. collies may be wielding their cheque book to offer BK a shot at captain/coach of their second grade team.

Kimmorley was on the radio this morning being interviewed about the Kangaroos. He said he didnt want to ever play under another coach in the future. No surprise there as he was obviously showing support for Anderson. (club and country I assume).
Anyway the line was cutting out and he didnt hear the question asked of him and he gave a response about wanting the wallaby's to win and Australia to clean sweep the Rugby League (the question was nothing to do with what was asked but a good reply).
The thing I found interesting was he told the announcers not to ring him when he gets home for a month as he is going on holidays.
Maybe noddy is asked for interviews all the time and this would be a fair response. No doubt Kimmorley deserves a holiday. A strange time of the year (near Xmas) to be interviewing RL players.
Unless of course a piece of news is going to break eg when Anderson gets back from the Roo Tour.
If Anderson is staying the media wouldnt want to contact Kimmorley anyway. (except for a standard response). Hope I'm not reading too much into this.

We'd be bloody mad to let Kimmorley go. We'd be bloody mad to further inflame a situation where Kimmorley refused to play for us too. Still, after some of the madness outta the club this year nothing would surprise. I still reckon the Board has a lot of questions to answer.
As for Kimmorley.....he's already proved he'd give his balls for the good of the Sharks. What more can we ask?
