So its true, you obviously did not watch KOE Cup. Alec and Fifita has less of a motor than mud guts for 1st grade. We had little to replace 1st grade, both Couchmans played late last year and Yes i would prefer them but Toby is not yet a current middle as bit slender and Ryan developed his game to get a shot but he is not a walk up starter like Toby.
This off season will sort them out.
We are trying to get rid of mud guts but the club extended him a while ago thinking he was a fringe NSW blue..or so somebody thought (probably journo) and the club fell for it and so did Lawrie.

Regardless of what happened in KOE cup it was blatantly obvious that 1st grade received plenty of beltings and had several woeful second half collapses and a message should have been sent early to say it was unacceptable.
The fact was players should have been dropped the unknown was how the replacements would have gone.
So to say the assumption they wouldn’t be better so don’t pick them is a better outcome than the fact that the incumbents were pitiful is not how I think nor is it how I think the coach should think especially when on the few occasions the pitiful 1st graders did play KOE Cup they didn’t dominate their either.
Anyway new season coming up and the 3 senior signings will bring much needed stability and professionalism and fingers crossed for a half and a prop that compliments them.
