Might be a disaster, but for 10-15min a half, he could prove devastating with good players around him.
Yep and he’s only gotta put in for about six weeks or so.

Meltdowns!
More like for the LOL’s
The guy is 35 and no where near the footballer he once was.
Can’t believe the Roosters would go for him.
Trent Robinson is pretty good at getting the best out of his older players though. Cronk and the Morris twins have produced some of the best footy of their careers under Robinson.
True, he maintained that at the Roosters though, despite being at the tail end of his career.Cronkn was the best half in the comp when he went to the Chooks.

Yeah his form probably would have been good at any club, Robinson's resting decisions and his ability to work the team around making defence work light for Cronk (e.g. 2018 GF was an extreme example of that) kept him in tip-top shape until the end though and let him focus on what he did best. You wouldn't get that out of a lesser coach.Robinson deserves shitloads of credit, but the form and talent of Cronk and Teddy is something they would have brought to any squad.
He's obviously not the elite player he once was but it's not like we've never seen a 34 year old play 1st grade before. At worst he's an upgrade on Aubusson as the bench backrow/centre utilityAre they signing him to tend to their garden? SBW is 89.
After 6 years out of the NRL and coming in with no footy in months? If he’s half the player he was he’ll be killing it.He's obviously not the elite player he once was but it's not like we've never seen a 34 year old play 1st grade before. Yeh match fitness is the biggest issue hence why him signing for a team not in the finals is a waste but don't pretend like we've never seen someone go from union or ESL to the NRL and have an immediate impact, I mean it's not like he's been sitting on his couch for the past 6 years. Even if he's magically lost all his other attributes I'm sure a 110kg backrower with foot work and one of the best offloads we've ever seen can be a useful impact player off the benchAfter 6 years out of the NRL and coming in with no footy in months? To be fair they were getting smashed every gameHe was sht for the few games he played for wolfpack, in between injuries.
it was june 30th, but with corona , THINGS has changedIs there no mid season "transfer" cut-off this year? Or does this not apply to players outside the NRL.
Surely if he is UK based he would be better off playing for another SL club?
