god I hope kiss don’t play, parkway drive is the only correct answer
So there’s potential! The DJ at the Titans v Bunnies game tried to get the crowd to do this last night. A grand total of 10 people participated lol.
Tina Turner tribute with modern artists should be a no brainer for this year. Covers all the bases. Crowd favourite songs, honours the past without being stuck in it etc.
Lol funny thing bout that is Barnsey himself is pretty wokenah, f**k all that WOKE stuff! we need BARNSEY!
Barnes is the bane of Australian music.nah, f**k all that WOKE stuff! we need BARNSEY!
Given U2 residency ends on November 4th, Id say the media have pulled this one out of their arse, and they will be long gone before the Vegas debacle.Interestingly, there are media reports that for the Vegas games next year, as U2 are playing Las Vegas at that time, the NRL are negotiating to get them to perform as part of its festivities.
Considering they've been around since the early 1980s, where are the similar calls rubbishing that idea too due to them being "not current"?

Now you're talking!Public Image Ltd
Has anyone else even heard about this? I sure as hell haven't.
U2 f**king suck. Although weirdly enough they managed to be bogan karaoke rock while being massively whiny douches who absolutely do not align with the political views of the average bogan so that's something of a talent I guess
It’ll reach mainstream media in the US if they played. The yanks will know there’s a Rugby Superbowl going on down under.Yeah my main objection to U2 is that they suck.
Oh dear.....who gives a flying f**k about the US media. It’ll reach mainstream media in the US if they played. The yanks will know there’s a Rugby Superbowl going on down under.
They were up to their neck in hits back in the day.A month or so ago on NRL 360, Paul Kent gave the exclusive update that the GF act was going to be a the remaining members of seminal British techno group The Prodigy. They are going to play a set list consisting of their hits "Breathe" and "Smack My Bitch Up".
They must be one of those bands that are an acquired taste .... like bleachC'mon! It's gotta be Six60 after Wednesday night's stellar performance.
Shoot me now.
