RTS was born in Samoa hutch.

I'd say he has to be fullback at the moment. Include him, Hoffman, Nightingale and Perrett in the squad. I'd drop Vatuvei and maybe Locke depending on spots.

One thing that would worry me a little is that RTS/Hoffman/Nightingale is an incredibly slow back 3. They're all good movers in their own way I guess, but not quick over any sort of distance.

I agree entirely.

However on Hoffman's Kiwi-ness, yeah he's an Aussie, but I sort of give him a pass as it was a pretty big call he made to commit himself to NZ, must feel a strong affiliation to us.

....or maybe he's just a born cynic/realist and didn't think he would ever make Queensland. I would've thought he was close enough though that he would've tried.

I'm not doubting his eligibility or commitment, just being a smartass really. He has committed to nz for his career after a connection he formed visiting his dads family over there, no dramas at all by the rules. i dont think nz need these types of players personally and I don't know if he is that good to warrant automatic selection though? I think there are better options at fullback and on the wing. He is a good cover for injuries I guess.

I get the impression he is close to a locked-in selection at fullback because he's made every post a winner there in the handful of games he's been selected for the Kiwis. I think you'd find most Kiwis reckon he should be picked too.

Personally I think on closer inspection RTS is clearly the better player (not to mention Hoffman, like RTS, hasn't even played much fullback this year) but I can see reasons of experience and incumbency ensuring Hoffman's selection at FB.

Surely Mannering isn't a walk up start for the Kiwi's anymore? He's so ordinary now days.

He is the captain.

Foran's a much better option (and the incumbent).

. Laughable statement. Hence the lol emoticon.

:?

The sad thing is there are people who agree with you

The really sad thing is that a guy whose only contribution is dropping the ball a couple of times a game is your national captain. Zero impact with the ball, and slightly above average defence. Tbh he'd struggle to make most NRL sides.

You boys are up there with Raiders fans in the bias stakes. Anyone would think the Warriors were full of superstars.

 I'd be amazed if you could find many Warriors supporters who would be picking more than a couple of our players for the RLWC team.

Wonder how early that it gets announced who's in the squads?
Do they start it the week after round 26?
