SKD and RTS play on the right, but you've got them on the left..does that matter that much these days? SBW has said he prefers to play on the right side.

Agree with 4 forwards on the bench. I remember the Kiwis making around 20m a set in the last 20 minutes of the end of year test last year, and thinking 'we need to make sure the bench gives us 80 minutes of go forward'.

OTT, I also heard he preferred 12 round boxing bouts... until that overweight has been from Seth Efreka showed what a powder puff he is.

I don't understand why anybody would not have SBW in their Kiwis team. Kidding yourselves.

Because he walked out on a club they don't support or care for 5 years ago.

You speaking for everyone there champ ?

That was a dog act, but his interview afterwards was even worse, even if his bruvva Anthony was pulling the strings. Cowardly way of going about things to shoot through to another country and send back allegations of racism etc

A lot of people tire of the circus that comes with anything he is involved in as well, and may not want that around the kiwis

Fair enough if people don't want him in the side, would be players you don't want in the side that others don't agree with you on either

But based on what's happing on the field, not having SBW there is utterly geniused.

If some people are happier with the blokes like Mannering, Smith etc who have put their bodies on the line for the kiwis over the years I don't have a problem with that tbh.

I haven't sat down and picked my side I want, but it sure as hell won't have Sonny playing in the centres

I'll have a crack:

1. Locke
2. Nightingale
3. SKD
4. Beale
5. Hoffman
6. Foran
7. Benji
8. Matulino
9. Luke
10. JWH
11. SBW
12. Mannering
13. Smith

14. Eastwood
15. Bromwich
16. Pritchard
17. Glenn

Still a strike centre and quality halfback away from being 50:50 with the aussies. Things will get very even in a couple of years when JT, Cronk and Smith slow down though.

He was 22 years old, has admitted he made a mistake. Why people hold this against him 5 years later (unless you're a Bulldogs fan) I don't know why. Some people make it out like he was convicted of some sort of serious crime.

I couldn't care less about the media around him, that doesn't affect me in any way. He's a great player, one of the best players to watch and is obviously one of the best Kiwis player who improves our side. Ask every Kiwi player and I bet they would want him in their the team. To not have him in the side because of some off field stuff is ludicrous but each to their own.

And yes I have a problem if people wanted another player over SBW just because they have played for the Kiwis the last few years. Thats completely irrelevant. If it was between two guys who are close in skill, form etc, play the same position, have both been in the NRL for the last few seasons then you could maybe make a case to go with the incumbent. Why can't people just enjoy watching the guy play? Who cares about what happens off the field? No need to get tied up in that or take it seriously.

If he was, he'd be welcomed back a lot more readily.

I never mentioned media when I mentioned circus. The circus come from his bruvva mundine, Nasser etc. Remember how a few year back how he couldn't make the ABs so his bruvva tweeted how he had to go and save him from all the evil people against him in NZ rugby etc, or the whole boxing charade they carry on with. It rubs a lot of people up the wrong way

Maybe some people would also hate to see consistent kiwis performers left out of a squad for a bloke that will most likely be gone at the end of the year.

People can choose who they like to watch play and support, personally I have plenty of players I tune into NRl to watch before SBWs name springs into my mind, doesn't mean you can't love him though

At least there are genuine reasons for people to not be fans of the guy. Unlike McCullum who gets slammed from pillar to post non stop, even Lomu in his prime etc

Personally, I'm not a fan of the bloke at all. Sure he can play but doesn't mean I have to like him. Id still like to know what he has down for all those poor bus drivers he cared so much about 5 years back ;)

You don't have to like him, but you should be able to see that he helps improve our side and therefore chances of defending the WC. And not want to leave a guy out of our national team based on your dislike of his friends or interviews he gives off the field etc. I bet a ton of QLD people don't like Billy Slater, doubt many wouldn't want him in their QLD side.

Well said Eddie.
SBW can produce the form on field and help us retain the WC then im all for it.
I'm not his biggest fan and i'm still undecided on if i like the bloke, but theres no doubting his talent and ability. Be stupid not to select him.

Personally Id him on the bench at this stage.
