Thanks a lot Kearney u f**king idiot, leave out the one decent half NZ had available, I don't care what the stupid prick has achieved, too take three players that have little to no experience at club level let alone at the highest is f**king geniused. The Kiwis forwards done more than enough (in all three games) to win this tournament, just needed some polish at the end of sets. Yeah we got hammered in the combined penalty count with him as ref, something like 17-7. I'm not sure why you would even want it as an issue when there is an Australian ref sitting in the TMO box, just switch them.

He was hopeless and the call which led to their last try was diabolical, not to mention the late knock on that wasn't.

Us fans all agree that every test must have a neutral ref.
One big problem is the ARL don't. That is the fly in the ointment.
The RLIF needs to sort this out and make sure that Rugby League around the world is all played under the same set or rules/laws.

Completely agree. It's hard to believe after all this time we can still only have English or Australian refs to do test matches.

I turned the commentary off with 20 mins to go. Couldn't take it any more. They're actually more biased than the Kiwi commentators. I didn't think it was possible.

I didn't watch any of it - fked if I'm waking at 1.30am to watch a side that isn't the best they could pick - but was it a case, as expected, of the forwards doing enough to win all 3 but the halves did nothing?

Another question that begs asking, why did Kearney name Tui for the 2nd Test then drop him? Thought he'd be really crafty and confuse the Poms? It doesn't strike me as good for Tui's confidence - and definitely not 'the future' - to name a guy a week after his debut then give him the public disappointment of being dropped.

Again, more proof Kearney will never be an NRL head coach.

Hiku was pretty mud though, no doubt Marshall would have been better - Still, and I'm not trying to defend Kearney at all here as prior to the series, I'd have had Marshall in - still - Had we managed a win and Hiku played okay, I wonder what the general view of Kearney would have been.

Wouldn't change for me - at the end of the day this is an international sport where only 3 teams are competitive, and we don't have halves depth - we have 3 world class halves, if two of them are hurt it's insane to leave out the third for 'development' so a youngster who either has played badly in the halves (Tui) or not played there at all (Kodi) at NRL level can be blooded alongside a centre/wing/fullback utility... The kids would have been much better with Marshall alongside them imo...

Anyway, is what it is - lost test series, when we have relatively few test series anyway

What ifs are irrelevant. I think this series damaged the Kiwis brand.
A few guys I know who travelled to Brisbane for the ANZAC test didn't watch this series after the first game, not because of the time (with MySky and Foxtel recorders you can watch whenever now) but with disillusionment with how this tour played out.

I felt exactly the same yet idiotically tried to watch it all.

I'm gutted by this loss and gutted that we had Hiku in the halves.
