Kiwis v Scotland

It's been an awesome opportunity to build depth in the kiwis squad & they're playing an exciting brand of footy. Kudos to Kidwell, Anderson & co for breathing life and fire into the game plan & these young fellas (& seniors) for running with it. The test will be, as it always is, at the business end when the game may get to be a grind with the top-tier opposition. To offload you need possession & they're certainly enjoying that in this game! Perhaps not so much later but hopefully they can balance their attacking footy with a rock solid and game-long defense. Go the Kiwis!

Not just offloads though mate. Any type of ball movement is clearly frowned upon by Kearney. Yes I know this is very different than the NRL, but the best teams win by playing to their strengths. We tell our players to be something else.

Different team (and attitude) next year & I'm backing we'll see a marked difference.

The week-in week-out of an NRL season is a different ball game. For the record, when asked Kearney said he hasn't stopped the offloading game of the Warriors, they just weren't earning the opportunity to be able to.
You can't offload to players who aren't there to offload too.
So unless RTS has taken a head knock he is there looking for it in Kiwis and not in Warriors.

Should be the A team v Tonga ?

Will be a brutal game so do we rest a couple of key positions, RTS, SJ and Danny Levi ?

Have to go out with the best team vs . Tonga. If they lose ihi k it'll mean that they play potentially Aussie in the semis ... admittadely have not studied the draw in great detail.

I want Tonga to feel the wrath so field the best. Kidwell wont be able to sleep with so many stepping up to the plate. It's a good problem for the Kiwis though. We got 2 Kiwi sides in our squad practically so good times for NZ

Take them on. This game v Tonga is personal. It's a battle of the last minute Larry turncoats v blokes who are sending a big FU back to them to say these jumpers are ours unless you ever earn them back. It's a statement game. I don't think we can win the Cup frankly so this to me is the focus for now

Agreed on missing out on the cup. The Kangaroos are true class all over the park minus Ferguson. If we ever beat them it would mean we have to play the very best game of our lives. If we do then Kidwell would have to be respected because it's been a wild start to this campaign. I'm not Kidwell fan boy either but will accept that respect is due to the man.

Tonga is the game on my mind. I want a clinical and convincing win. I don't hate Tonga as a nation and I'm happy their fans are right into their team. I just want this Win as per Iafeta's post. To prove a point with the late defectors who disrespected and disrupted our campaign esp Taumabolo.

Get em boys. Give em a taste of Kiwi.

Next week is critical. Win and we get an easyish quarter against Lebanon and go to the opposite side of the draw to Aussie. Lose and we get Fiji in the quarters and Aussie in the semis.
