Whilst it was stupid it was nonetheless quite minor going by the details, I mean a 21 year old kid got abit boozey on a Saturday night and had a disagreement with a family member (could've been something as simple as his sister or cousin telling him he's a drunken idiot and him not liking it). I'm glad the club has taken the appropriate action because there's no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

At Newcastle, Knights officials have given outstanding tyro Peter Mata'utia a last warning despite clearing him of serious misconduct arising from an alcohol-related incident on Sunday morning.
Mata'utia was arrested after an altercation in Darby St at 1.50am and spent the night at Newcastle Police Station. Yesterday the Knights said: ''The police have confirmed that no charges will be laid following a minor incident involving a Newcastle Knights player last Saturday night.''
