Problem is that the Dragons used him as a play maker and a kicker...He is just ball playing 5/8, just let him do what he is good at. Taken out of his comfort zone he looked really poor.

Smith buys a lot of players other coaches arn't using well - and Brown had lots of talented kids and no idea how to use them.
Two thirds of the guys Smith picks up as 'projects' come good.

I dont know to well, havent really seen him play much but what I have seen of him is that he is a talented player, but does crappy stuff on the field... Is that a good summary?

He seems to be very up and down Yoshy (not just from game to game either, during a game seems to be his speciality), has more skills than Bailey, and would be on less dough than Bailey. He has probably come to one of the better coaches in the comp if you're looking at the improvements he would need to make it in 1st grade.

In a nutshell I think he's a dud right now, but we'll see what Smithy does with him next year.

I'll tell you this now though, his attacking kicking game is better than what Mullen and Dureau could do this year.

Just go back a few weeks and watch his MOTM performance to see what he IS capable of.

The guy has a lot of talent and potential.

That in itself makes this a good signing. If he fails to deliver I hope he gets the punt, but at least this isn't just a nothing signing simply to fill a gap.

If and thats a big if he choses the right option in attack he can pull something off, he cant kick for sh*t and often throws passes that are sh*t or shouldnt be thrown all together

i would play him at lock more then anywhere else

Anyway i'm going to make a prediction and say that Mullen/Rogers will be our halves for the majority of next year. One advantage Rogers will always have over Dureau is size and hes long kicking game is almost or just as good as Dureaus as well which is one of Dureaus biggest assets.
