lol.. dureau has been good the past month and it's been silence out of you karma.. then he has one poor game (his kicking game was still great) and you smell blood in the water and pounce.

dureau must stay in the team the rest of the year, if only to keep mullen in the #6 jersey. he also gives an a genuine kicking option, and knows how to lay on a try. you would be an absolute fool to change the halves pairing that has been working very well for the past 3 weeks... our team just works so much better with him on the field. hasn't anyone else noticed how freely and easily we've been spreading the ball sideline to sideline the past couple of weeks, to great effect?

dureau is our only genuine short term halfback option. i really don't care what breaking down every single pass of his says on paper, the team works far better with him on the field.

We were piling on the points last week playing with 7 forwards and one half.

I don't know if that's more a reflection on the opposition, or the fact that 99% of our attack relies simply on Buderus feeding just about anyone who feeds Mullen who practically runs our entire attack.

I reckon you could do what Dureau does DMC, except I think your last tackle kicks might have more height.

Hey Karma Ive got a new toy for you to chew on

 Mate there's been nothing to talk about - he has been playing less minutes than a 130kg front rower some games.

No, the Supersub is very important to the team.

As long as he stands, passes, and gets the f*ck outta the way, I can live with that.

I don't like the way Smith uses Dureau when Mullen is playing, although i have to say it worked better yesterday than in some previous games.
Mullen probably had his best game of the year being allowed to run a bit wider and look for opportunities, but i think Dureau is better calling all the shots himself rather than just being a link man for Mullen.

Based on what Roopy? Dureau's Jersey Flegg career? Or what he has shown in first grade so far?

Surely it can't be the latter option.

Last night I thought Dureau was very poor in defense.

He came up with some very nice passes and a couple good game changing kicks like the one in behind Atkins that got us a line dropout.

I can tolerate those games, most young halves will have them, he still should be there just to keep the opposition thinking and keeping the pressure off of Mullen.

However, for the game against the Raiders I get the feeling he'll go back to being supersub as Karma says just so we can get our forwards to match theirs in the opening stages.

Is it just me, or is everyone over-reacting to Mullo's game last night? I thought he was patchy in the first half and then was much better in the second ...

Well he is doing two jobs at once. Playing both half and 5/8 to compensate for Supersub.

Scotty got injured twice he was down on his haunches throughout the game and they even pulled him off early. His kicking game was alright except for a few wayward ones. He has to be on the field IMO opinion and he has to learn to not de-celerate when he takes on the line.

I think it's credit to the Knights that they can continue to win NRL games with only 12.5 men on the field.

Dureau deadset did nothing last night. He can throw a nice pass, but that's his job, pass the ball and get the f*ck outta the way.

To counteract his OK passing, once again his last tackle options were poor, letting the Titans off the hook on more than one occasion with a kick that was either too long, not high enough, or just overall sh*thouse.

No suprise that all quality attack last night came from the skills of Mullen.
LOL
Lets p!ss him off and put Kidley there :sarcasm:

I like Roops opinion more

That would put his speed in reverse then as he would be the slowest half off the mark in first grade.

Except for some excellent kicks, Dureau didn't do much last night and his defence was ordinary. It is obvious that Bedsey, Kidley and Mullo run the show so I am not sure where Dureau really fits in except to make up the numbers on the field and shovel the ball out.

:lol:unfortunately opinions are like a<{}seholes..everyone has one..but karmawave(aka luke walsh)..you are just biased......we are a much better team with scott at 1/2 and jarred at 5/8

has any one picked up on the fact when we had try disallowed because scott touched preston..that preston actually knocked the ball forward into houstons arms and should have been advantage knights before any think else could be called
