Well done Knights,good win.
Carney looks the goods, and his interview with Brandy proves he is not only a good player, but a good bloke as well.
Wonder what Hages is thinking now?

great defensive effort by the nukes
a huge improvment over 2005

parra looked like a team asking too few questions, and getting confused with the answers they were recieving.
slow starter last year though, so i wouldn't worry too much about it

Parramatta where sh*thouse.

Had absolutley nothing in attack. Tim Smith went missing.

How did he go missing? He did everything for us because Morris was too busy standing around to help, and Widders dropped the ball everytime he had it. Tim didn't handle the pressure well though, Joey showed him up.

Knights deserved it. Great defence and they pressured the ball carrier every time.

Carney/Gidley are going to be pretty devastating this year... Joey/Buderus realise this and around 70-80% of their plays were directed down that side tonight.

Good game by the Knights who outplayed Parra in every way.

Thought the Knights best were Kurt Gidley, Craig Smith, Steve Simpson, Adam Woolnough,Milton Thaiday and Brian Carney. Joey played well but wasn't that big a stand out which IMO would be a big plus for the Knights.

For the Eels, I thought McKinnon had a great game at the back, I thought Morrison was good 40 tackles and over 100m is a dream for a back-rower. I was also impressed with your number 16. I thought Smith had a solid game, did a few good things but needed more help from Morris and Marsh. Hindmarsh had a fairly average game which was a surprise to me, he did bugger all in attack and barely looked dangerous.

Then again this is only round 1. Plenty of time for players to prove themselves. :)

if the knights stay injury free to their main stars they wont lose game in newcastle.

Riley Brown, he's been billed with a heap of potential and hasn't really delievered in the past few seasons, wasn't brilliant yesterday but had a solid game with a few promising plays.

He's only just turned 21 and he was injured almost all 2005.

Interesting story too.

About 5 years ago Riley's mum was murdered and his dad was accused and sent to jail, meaning the club had to look after him and his younger siblings. Riley's always stood by his dad though, and believed in his innocence.

I really hope he does well in his career, he deserves it.

I was actually talking about Parra's Number 16. :p

Brown had a solid game though and provided good support for the try that turned the match.

Well that was Josh Cordoba if I'm not mistaken. He was very good.
