I think tonight made potential targets take notice of us. This is a bunch of very talented kids. The Sims bros can hit the road.

That one was hard to take.

Entertaining though I suppose.

I thought they all played well other than a couple of stupid brain snaps (Sims). They would have won if Jez was there to settle them down. Needed leadership.

Gutted but not too surprised. Most of the side absolutely tried their guts out; let down by Sims and Hodkinson going missing too often.

Oh well. There's light at the end of this miserable tunnel.

Hodko was on fire in the first half. Cooled down significantly in the second. Really our engine room let us down in the dying stages of this one. What was the average age of our forwards out there?

Not to be a downer but Parra were down to 13 blokes for awhile there. That included one of their key halves

I'm honestly happy we just stayed with them

Also... just because I think it's astounding... D Saifiti ran for another 173m tonight from 18 runs. That's nearly 400m in 2 weeks from a 20 year old. I'm not sure if it's completely unheard of, but it must be close. Just unreal. And with some offloading thrown in? Feel like I'm dreaming. Sky is the limit for him. Can Jacob be this good, too?

Was fine in the first half, excellent really however, he should have come up with a play to get us over the line in the first 15 of the second. Big reason why we bought him was because we lacked direction towards on the line.

I have to say that after tonight I reluctantly and tentatively have to get on board the Rossdog fan club. Centre seems to be his spot, which is good because we need one.

Totally get the reluctance. It was hard for me to accept too, but it really does seem now that Ross at centre was the way to go the whole time. Certainly when compared to Pat Mat.

I like that Ross gives us something very few players in our team do - line-breaking ability. He can actually hit a hole and burst through it. And he has fast feet.

Problem now is, can we keep him for next year? I see him as a guaranteed starter at centre now, with Sione the other centre (solid game from him too).

Don't know where that leaves us with Gagai. But Ross will probably leave now anyway, now that he's shown what he can do.

Oooo, actually yeah I did forget to take in to account that Ross is playing for a bigger contract at the moment. Hmm. Yeah, nah we can't pay him too much.
