Well next saturday night it will be the battle of the last start losers, Newcastle playing hosts to Parramatta at EnergyAustralia Stadium. Newcastle will be filthy with their awful display last night against the Melbourne Storm while the Eels were woeful......... again losing 2 the Tigers 33-6. the battle of the brothers, Michael and Steve will be a highlight and well I dont know what else I can say other than that if the Knights turn up focused well I think it may be a loooooong night 4 Parramatta. What u think?

I think Newcastle will work really hard at their defence this week. They will be pretty upset with themselves and will want to get that enthusiam back they had for the Doggs and Broncos games.

Out of all the teams in the NRL i am fearful of the eels, dragons and the sharks the most.. For some reason they always seem to turn up and play against us.. I think it will be harder than we think.

I will go on some kind of drunken rampage through Armidale if we do not win this one comfortably.

Wen eed a big win to boost our differential up. Hopefulyl Brian Smith will leave Morris out of the game.

Johnny should get a recall, he's too good to be stuck in PL. Witty should get a start again though, but who knows with Brian Smith these days? :?

I'm with you CH, we always have problems with Parra, we have a terrible record against them ever since 2001 GF. I hope the boys don't think they just have to turn up to win.

Newcastle are gonna need an extension on the score board to accomodate for the triple figures score they're going to rack up.

Since the 2001 grand final Antonius these are the results

2002: Vs Parramatta at Parra Stadium. W 28-14
2002: Vs Parramatta at Newcastle. W 24-18
2003: Vs Parramatta at Parra Stadium. L 30-12
2003: Vs Parramatta at Newcastle. W 30-16
2004: Vs Parramatta at Parra Stadium. L 38-34

Its not terrible but i agree we do struggle against Parramatta, however that is only the case at Parra Stadium! Parra have won twice in Newcastle since 1990. If the knights turn up, they will win by 40 or more

I guess I should've added "At Parra Stadium" LOL.
I have to admit though I'm surprised at those figures. I thought it was worse than that. Anyway if we go in with the right attitude we should whoop 'em.

Still a danger game for the boys, but with Hages back at the helm for the week, players coming back and a drive 2 win after last week. Not lookin good Parra!!!

After the weekend's game, I have zero confidence whatsoever. There's no way I'd bet anything on a Knights win. I'd love to be wrong.

I listened to most of the call on Saturday night (had to do so in a sneaky fashion since I was at the Swans game). Sounded like the Knights were woeful, at best.

mmm, but that can be attributed to a number of factors, and i doubt theyll eb any where near as bad next week, theyll ahev a full week with hages, a starting prop, our best outside back, and our best centre inside him, adna fullback. We'll give it a good shake
