I'm calling bullshit on SBW. They've had a shit week of being slammed by the ASADA reports, Cordner being ruled out and LOD being ruled out, this is just to try and throw us off.

SMH reporting that LOD definitely out for with a torn hamstring and SBW had what they thought was food poisoning but he has developed a fever and won't play unless he makes a strong recovery.

Who knows if it's true.

even if he made a recovery he would be sapped of energy. I never like hearing about a players illness or injury but wow this is good luck. Without him they are severely weakened and LOD is just an added bonus. Only because of his experience.

Just watch, we'll hear all day about SBW being stuck in bed until an hour before the game and it will be hailed as a miraculous recovery. Heard the same thing when they played the Bulldogs.

I'd say the LOD stuff is true, but like others have said I'd be stunned if SBW doesn't play. He'd have to be literally shitting his pants while he's running out to not play. I doubt Wayne's even taking notice.

And because Kennedy will play. He's worth a few dropped balls and a couple of penalties every game.

Hopefully even if he is no danger of missing the game there is some truth to the story and he has had an energy sapping day in the bathroom.

Hahaha the boys would of been instructed not to do anything sexual leading up to the game!

Well as a Newcastle boy, I'm hoping you guys win. You beat Manly when it counted in 1997, and I would love to enjoy watching that happen again.

Game day!

Very nervous but pretty confident.
Roosters are definitely our biggest challenge of the year. Whoever wins this, I think, wins the comp.

We need to come out of the blocks like last week and keep our defence strong and tough.

Really it comes down to Mullens kicking game, it has to be better than last weeks when you guys are attacking, I thought you guys won despite his poor 5th tackle kicking. Love to see you throw the ball around like last week, though I think the Roosters are better at defending that than Melbourne are, who throughout the year struggled with that gameplan being thrown at them.
