This from the match report -
.
Fellow-winger Manu Vatuvei was bundled out in the corner three minutes later but he got over the line soon afterwards, picking up a cutout pass and stepping inside his opposite Aquila Uate and forcing his way over in a tackle.
.

Don't like the sound of that too much, infact not at all. Was hoping his defence weakness may have improved over the off season cause I really want to see this fella have a real crack in the NRL.

Witt got one goal from three. Where did you get those scorer sheets from? I thought Dureau got three from four goals :?

Is that the game we're playing?

Yes well, it's wrong. Every other media outlet is reporting that Dureau kicked 3 from 4. The main discrepancy seems to be whether Taia or Edwards scored the third try

Thats actually Wes and he was the only player to get injured for the Knights, straining his ankle.

In all fairness, stopping Manu Vatuvei in your first game of first grade would be a pretty big challenge. Built like a brick sh*thouse

What's the white guy to islander ratio in our side looking like this year? I swear, we look like NZ Mk II from those pictures

I just saw that try on Fox News and I gotta say that it looked like a pretty bad miss, Aku seemed to just stick his arm out and not really commit. Hopefully it was just a brain fart and he was solid for the rest of the game :)

It's almost like reading a report on another team. I saw Fa'aoso's name and was like, dammit, they scored

You say the Knights had some awesome young talent on display? Who stood out for you?

sorry, just spotted this,

buderus, the knights lifted a gear when he was on, the 2 wings and fullback, fa'aoso and wulf were solid.

the young polynesian boys were great to watch, i have always liked jessie royal, toimoana and uate went well.

bailey looked good. Naiqama and manu had a great battle.

I seen the footage on Sports Tonight.

The Warriors tries were just ones where they basically got around us by stretching the defence.

Someone on our team put in a huge hit, #13 I think it was.
