I seen the footage on Sports Tonight.

The Warriors tries were just ones where they basically got around us by stretching the defence.

Someone on our team put in a huge hit, #13 I think it was.

Richard Fa'aoso

That guy will do great things for the Knights!

I think its just the way the game is heading, Smith likes his dynamic islander types

Just like the Knights sides of the late 80's early 90's. Plenty of Kiwi talent :D

polynesians definately bring something different. Its no coincidence that most of the teams who've been successful lately have had plenty of polynesian talent

I love NZ media covering anything to do with rugby league. If you believed it, you'd think the Warriors only ever lost games because they chose to.

More trial results;
NSW Cup
Windsor 36-26 Central Knights.

Toyota Cup
Newcastle 46-34 Penrith.

The under 20s beating Penrith is a great result with Penrith having won Flegg the last two seasons.

I've lived in both NZ and Australia for extended periods of time. The Australian media is no different.

Except that Australia's media has multiple clubs to cover, so you at least don't get rosey reviews of everything a club does. I don't think I've ever heard a bad word said about the Warriors by the NZ press. If they lose, they were robbed.

I dont take much from trial form, its never that accurate. I am glad however the boys got some confidence out of it and there were no injuries.

Im actually more impressed by the under 20's result, again it could be just a trial result but Penrith are the Melbourne of the under 20's game atm.

You're so out of the loop is isn't funny, well, actually, it is.

With TVNZ the Warriors are lucky to ever win a game...unless they've won a few in a row, and then they should have never lost a game

And that's only if they can be bothered giving the Warriors any airtime at all.

However, NZ media is as quick to pounce on any controversy that would make league look bad just like the Aussie media so that makes the lack of media coverage in NZ ok as far as TVNZ is concerned.

I could've sworn it was #21 :?

#13 (Fa'aoso) scored the try and #21(Taia?) made the hit.

I was up there (Queensland) when the announcement about Bennett leaving was made, the next day the Courier Mail had 12 full pages about it.

Outstanding result for Toyota Cup side.

Just to upset everyones team suggestions..... Zeb Taia spent time at centre.

I wish everyone the best of luck picking our starting 13, I for one have no idea whatsoever.....

Wulf has impressed from day one. He is a natural centre, with the size to play in the forwards. The only question mark was over whether he can handle the hits up the middle. He may have answered that question.
