The guy has only played fullback or wing since he came into the under 20s. He's not a half, and he doesn't have the skillset for a half. But at least against NSW Cup defences there is plenty of room for him to use his running game.

He played the first 3 games of his NYC at half. Only 1 game this year but I liked what I saw of him in the halves, he was less erratic (than he was at fullback) and actually looked up at the defence before he made a decision.

The level is a lot higher then 10yrs ago. I've seen Gower,Alvaro,Evans,Hoffman all in NSW cup in last 12-18mths. None stood out significantly more then your other players in the side. You could see a little bit extra clas but not like theyd just tear them apart.
Stone does not destroy the opposition but he does look a level above. And he gives 100%. Salesi or Davey are not at his level.

Not sure you could consider the pack had NRL players in it, apart from the hooker, the remaining players in the pack had a total of 5 NRL games between them compared the Mounties 70 plus NRL games.

Just needs to get fit and is only depth anyway.
