Utoikamanu made 41 tackles and only one miss yesterday. He looks quite mobile for a big fella and could be what we need to firm up our middle defence, if not this year then definitely next.

Had 10 runs for 94 metres in attack.
I wasnt greatly impressed however I do admit it would be difficult to impress in that team. He could excell in better company. From Mannahs efforts yesterday, his card has been marked. Like Tepai he was left on the ground. I kinda think its a mental thing with this pair.

It's understandable that clubs need experienced back up players at the end of the roster, how on earth did Will Smith get an extension as he was very ordinary again, no better or actually worse than the part timers playing.

Wenty does find a way to lose in the last 10 minutes, but 10 year NRL players should be showing the way, sadly a few in Wenty aren't doing that.
The club needs to have an honest talk to Smith. Should be moved on regardless. Shouldnt be stinking up our top 30 next year.

Smith was our most dangerous attacker. Unfortunately he was also the dumbest, throwing the intercept that brought the Warriors level, during a set where we just needed to roll up field and get a good kick in.

They were playing like the result didn't matter, and given it was reserve grade, they were right.

yeh, he went OK

well he was one of the younger ones that I refereed to as coming through, the guy is a man mountain and was playing on the edge yesterday but I reckon he could play in the middle as well

Who are you talking about? Stefano played in the middle. Davey (as always) played on the edge. Both did well.

Well I just googled a bit and seems like he was always a second row and even centre. Anyway, would like to see him play at least one NRL game just for the feelgood factor. You gotta admire the effort.

He (Davey/ Laney) is absolutely worth a go in the top grade, regardless of sentiment. A natural right side player, who gives it a red hot go.
