Penrith where very well drilled. Their halves controlled the game.

We had several first graders in that team. Even super sub the SLOTH was playing and did f**k all.

We had more experienced blokes than him playing and they did f**k all as well. Of course you don't mention them though, because they're not the ones you want to fail.

Losing 18-6 and bowing out was probably a fairly expected effort, given we haven't beaten any of the finalists at all this year. Not disgraced I guess?

Oh, it was essentially Penrith third grade in the earlier game... well, probably better for us that we won't get to face their real reserve grade team at all in these finals, and after their work experience cameo against the Cowboys first grade.

I'd back the Panthers over the Jets to take out this grade.

I'll post it here as the Game day thread is getting swamped..

Our development this year looks terrible we are the only club not to play a rookie in the NRL.

Our Cup team is full of plodders.

Toni Mateale looks ok but his defence is terrible especially for cup.

Russell is ok needs to work on acceleration like the rest of our team.

But no one else has stood out. Maybe that's due to the way they have been coached.

They said nothing in juniors that stands out. Won't be much for a few years now.

He can only ‘develop’ the players we recruit. If the best ones are chasing the money/perks on offer at other clubs then it’s a matter for our junior recruitment team to solve, and will require the club’s big wigs making more resources available.
