Knock-on Effect NSW Cup - Eels Team

Given the changes, guess it shows they really only had the captains run. Mind you tackling shouldn’t be an option even when you are down in troops.

Guess it goes back to off season recruitment, when the backs had little attention. Not good and pretty embarrassing.

Look at the calibre of both teams, Eels have what 3 players that are full time, and only Murchie looks like someone who should be regarded as full time. Momo and Dunster are playing out of position and out of any sort of form, so the balance is part time and a number promoted from the Ron Massey level, not sure Wayne Bennett could get them too competitive.

What is more of a concern is the lack of size and grunt , the SG Ball side looked bigger than this team. This should lead to a full revaluation of this team, let’s hope so.
