They missed 6/7 conversions so we must of had good middle defense and pushed them wide. Possitve signs.

Canberra had a team full of players who are a bees dick away from NRL standard and our team was full of kids and the odd journeyman. That says so much about a lot of things.

That said, the team was screaming out for direction, for the young rep halfback to stand up as the quarterback, be loud in his direction to his forwards and steer the team around by example. They played like a team without a halfback.

We don’t need to talk about Cini and Sammy L and Harper. Tago had a go. Martin did too, but has got an error in him.

Honorable mention to Ogden, I thought he played great.

Spoke to someone at the game last week who is involved with the Hills Bulls but knows a lot of these kids & speaks to Rankin the Jersey Flegg coach who is involved with Bulls now in A-Grade.

Reckons we have pushed too many up at once which has destroyed both grades.

A lot of these one should have been still playing Flegg for another 6 months.

Rankins hands are tied at that level. Hence the floggings we are getting at both grades.

It's reserve grade so no merkin cares about results. Just go out there and work on your game, which includes defence. Getting belted is character building.
