Spoke to someone at the game last week who is involved with the Hills Bulls but knows a lot of these kids & speaks to Rankin the Jersey Flegg coach who is involved with Bulls now in A-Grade.

Reckons we have pushed too many up at once which has destroyed both grades.

A lot of these one should have been still playing Flegg for another 6 months.

Rankins hands are tied at that level. Hence the floggings we are getting at both grades.

Agree with this only problem is if they don't play CUP who does 🤷

Canberra had a team full of players who are a bees dick away from NRL standard and our team was full of kids and the odd journeyman. That says so muach about a lot of things.
It says Canberra don't have a settled top 17, and their players 11 to 30 are on a lot more than most clubs. This is why their reserve grade side had the best points differential even before this game.

Why don't we have a team a bees dick away from the NRL?

It's not like MON / BA / CEO just started
Yeah I don’t know. They do seem to be spending a lot of cash in development, just not on second tier contracts.

Our top 27 includes Cini, that merkin in Ron Massey, Haze - so we really only have a top 24. Sivo, Doorey, Moses, Mataele, Carty are injured so that’s 19 left ?

They have Chevy who played Ball and Flegg last year the other Ethan is playing first grade...

We wasted money and cap space on shit players never to play first grade. ...

Whas about to say the same. Easy to identify the problem, much harder to find a solution.

I can see a few of our Ball players moving up to Flegg after the finals. Might shift a few more to CUP from Flegg.

Pryke played well off the bench today we just need to give them a chance in cup and remove the shit players

Agree, but that would mean that Parra supporters would need to be patient and cut them some slack.

Unfortunately, coaches coach what they are give, understand some dont like that it’s said frequently, but when accountants have the final decision on players, we can look at the result and it’s pretty simple . Until that changes, we may continue on the same path.

Accountants ffs. Every club spends the entire cap on players. If the budget is tight it's because the cap is limiting your spend, not because 'accountants' are trying to save money. If the cap is biting it means we are spending a lot of money on players already at the club. The accountants obviously didn't prevent that from happening.

Yes I know this despite living on the other side of the country.
