Eythan Martin returns and in the centres. Interesting to see Meni at 5/8th instead of Lynn.
We are trying to stifle Meni Luke’s development, just like Hands. @JokerEel

Let’s be honest, the Cup team is trading water with possibly few of them being retained on NRL contracts in 2025. Flegg has motored along after losing their first 7 games and is a realistic chance of making the finals and would be a side no one would be happy to play.

The Flegg team will form the basis of Cup next year, hopefully leaving them to form a bond may pay similar dividends to the teams at Penrith that came through together.

Or they will all leave like Arthur, Sanders and Talagi.

Martin in the centres is an interesting call. Strikes me as an out and out winger who could fill in at the back if needed.
I put it to you that he lacks the size you want in a modern winger, and maybe the club Is trying to work out how they can get the most from his speed.

Sanders and Talagi leaving makes sense. We can’t fit them into our top 17 at their preferred positions. Arthur is disappointing though. He’s either had a genuine sook, or used it as an excuse to chase the money elsewhere, like Guymer tried to do.

He wouldn't be getting more money elsewhere.

The club statement basically implied compassionate grounds for a release.

Code for he either spat the dummy or Brad wanted him out of joint as quick as possible.

Whatever the true reason is the club is better for it.

I don't think many Parramatta fans are losing sleep over Boods going and if he turns out any good or not.

Club needed a clean slate from anything to do with the Arthur's in 2025.

I reckon he would be getting more money elsewhere. He’s developed a lot quicker than I expected. He’s gone from SG Ball star to quality reserve grader in the space of 12 months.
