For those who don't know:

CC have 2 games left and we currently sit 2nd on the ladder on 27 points equal with the Bulldogs and only one point behind the rabbits.

Today they play the 9th placed Warriors and the Bulldogs in the final round next week. Minor premiership a distinct possibility.

JF also have two games left and we currently are in 8th position equal with the 9th Place tigers, however, three points behind the 7th placed team. It's a real battle for 8th spot.

Today we play the 10th placed Warriors, however, the Tigers play the 12th placed Thunderbolts. The final round sees us play the 6th placed Raiders whilst the Tigers play The Warriors. Our chances to play finals will come down to the last round next week.

Good analagy DS and we also have to win both CC games to secure a Top 2 spot..but then again with no home advantage is there really any difference between 2nd and 4th.
One thing I know the team i dont want to meet until the GF is the Dogs. Out of the Top 4 Souths and Panthers are a better chance to win and out of the bottom 4..the Mounties are rising up again. The Bears being the Roosters undercard will surprise a few. It will be a monumental effort to get to the GF if we can.

Flegg boys are looking much stronger with Wishy back
Tigers have been on a run but have lost their best 2 frontrowers
We should grab 8th spot.

George this 3 week break for Eddie Blacker is extending out a long time
I would like our esteemed HPU to give us some updates re him, Jordan Periera and some others and not feed us the same BS re 1st grade. Whats the point with the HPU update...he just toes the company line with info released.
For goodness sakes (sorry Possm stealing your line) They knew earlier in the week that the 3 HIA recipients would not be playing this week.
The 2 lower grades are our only and continual shining light and my interest is always there. How about the club treat the supporters to some information about these sides etc.
Arrrggghhhh...our clubs media is poor

George , with some real prospects here for us , is just making the 8 an underachievement or does this side have a young list that could play age lower reps ?
8th is not a bad result considering the season
We had a small squad to start with
We are small in the forwards too
There would be about 6 guys that are 19 in the squad
Willie has used 5 SG boys at times
Not having Wishy for most of the season has been a huge loss and Captain Gale out for 6 weeks.
The FG injuries have a knock on effect. CC boys to FG. Flegg boys to CC.

Eddie was back last week and playing today, but yeah its a joke when you can get more from a forum than the club.

Thx..I am blind as a bat reading too quickly. Thought his name was not on the team sheet.
I saw him at Ziems Oval against the Eels and he is a big unit and I have been given huge wraps on his potential by a few reliable sources.

Personally I think he has under performed, but that has a lot to do with the club and they way they have used him. I just want to see big units rip and tear.
