Early in the 2nd half we hit the front courtesy of a dropped bomb by Josh Mansour.
Then a sin bin and many errors then the jets scored 3 tries to win it.
Two of them from 10 metres out under the posts..
Two notes
Billy Burms pass to nobody on the wing never looking.
And Amone pushes and shoves with an over 6 foot jets forward.
Then goes down with a cramp.
On paper last two years some comments were we look strong
Anything but.
We look headed for a looooong season In reggies.

Dragons K.O.E. finally get a win.

Sullivan easily MOM 4 try assists and 1 try (kicked for himself so is that a try assist also)? Missed a few goals in windy conditions or the score would have been higher.

Max Feagai strong. Musgrove played well. Ryan Couchman and Russell good too.

I got to watch the second half
IMO
Couchman & Russell work really hard ( Couchman just slightly better )
Musgrove and Molo solid ( Mulgrave got injured )
Max F very hard to stop
Connor was very lively at hooker
Jayden was in everything , most of it really good , but he did get tackled on the last once.
Once this kid gets a full season under his belt he is going to be a superstar.
We seemed to pick up a few injuries , so it will be interesting what the squad update says.
Jayden seemed to get a few bumps , shoulder and ankle but he was in everything.
Both teams looked gasses at the end.
Dragons won

Didn't manage to see the game, but good to see that we won. Bronx Goodwin said that the team was on the improve before the game, so looks like they have improved quite a bit to beat the team coming second on the ladder.

Thanks guys for reporting and who you thought played well etc.

That's it for me, Hunt to 9 in the hooker rotation with Liddle and Sullivan to 7.

Bud Sullivan was the main reason for the improvement I am sure. He controlled the attack And they wouldn’t have won without him.

Sullivan made a world of difference to this side, it is absolutely essential he is at least the 14 in the NRL side.
Totally agree. Hopefully as he gets a bit older and his body takes the hits and bumps, he will be a much better player for us in the next few years. We need to maintain patience and nurture him along and keep him on our books because he will be a great #7 when Hunt retires or goes elsewhere. I agree that we shouldn't go out and spend big on an outsider for the 7 position as we have a good one already waiting and raring to go.
