Amazing try by Rumble
can he tackle?
can he tackle?
Watchirs made his cup debut last year unexpectedly and played quite wellI havent seen Benjamin Rumble or Cooper Roberts (the winger) play yet.. bar that video.. they r the 2 names I keep hoping rocket through the ranks.. oh and Watchirs seems like a beast.. I just keep hearing those names.. will be exciting to see them perhaps play some NSW Cup at some stage next year? So many good kids.. but they are down the track.. we still need to get this 1st grade side pumping first.
Full time 36-16 dragons win via NSWRL tvKOE Cup score update.
Dragons leading Penrith 36-16 with 12 minutes to play.
Sione Finau 2 tries of the 6 scored.

Tui NLT and Couchman standouts. Hamish Stewart didn't look too outta place eitherAny idea how forwards went
Rev thanks for the wrap up. Do you think this is worth a shot in first gradeWhat a great weekend for our jr grades again.. the KOE Cup side is looking really connected.. like they are playing a good brand of footy..passes r coming off.. did we write-off Bronxy Goodwin too early?
Hamish Stewart #16 for a cup debut, did heaps of work and was not out of place.. RCouchman was strong again, heaps of offloads.. Tui looked a bit slow compared to those guys, but hes rly strong.. its a rly good little group of young forwards coming thew with Egan, Toby, Fifita (hopefully).. oh and Coric ofcourse... still a while away but it should be a rly interesting NSW Cup next season.. Note: We are a bit fortunate to have Musgrove in this grade though.. hes such a 1st grader.. so much bigger bodied too.
Ben Johnson was also not out of place, I think it was a debut at left ctr.. its Tamales spot when he gets back mind you (unless he gets promoted), but plenty of pace.. did his job..
Finau & Lobb maybe even the difference, Lobb had a great take of a short kickoff, and knocked the ball free on a runaway try, like just little defensive things that add up.. I did think he should have taken a tough ball from Feagai just above his head for a missed try.. but other than that very strong, and Finau continues to be strong.
Stewart is really comfortable at this level now, has taken him a while... but its still a tricky situation for Flanno.. i'd prefer Stewart over Turner.. but Turner is in our 30 for 1 more year.. so dunno.. but if we land a bigger name like a Taafe or someone.. who knows.
Shereb I dunno what to do with him, he was our big name 2nd rower a few years back, but hes getting roflstomped by this young brigade of faster guys coming thru... I think he'll lose his dev spot for 2024.. too many other options... he looks big enough to play middle maybe..
Who else the halves.. dunno.. both doing well, setting up their outside men.. neither have crazy pace.. so they arent tearing teams apart, but no complaints, rly good for them to be getting this development and winning games against good opposition.
Who are you thinking about? I suspect there wont be any radical changes for the Tigers game.. but if we dont win that.. who knows.. SFinau is the obvious inclusion given hes in the dev squad and Feagai is struggling.. noone else rly stands out bar maybe RCouchman getting a game before end of year.. You could throw Tui in off the bench.. Musgrove I think needs to be on the 1st grade bench every week.. Oh and Tamale.. I wouldnt mind him getting a crack with Suli into the vacant 2nd row spot.. def some options there.. but tbh im more interested in seeing KOE play some finals right now I rly miss finals..Rev thanks for the wrap up.
