I've been very sketchy on whether Halangahu would handle the step up, but I think he handled the physicality really well for his 1st game... we will find out later what sort of contract he has signed.. I dont think there is a hurry though.. hes still elegible for Under 19s iirc.

I dont know what they r going to do with roster positions however.. Egan is off-contract next year I believe.. Nick I assume is also Top30 next year.. can we carry 3 young 2nd rowers in our Top30? Dunno.. depends how theyre gonna play Stewart and RyanC perhaps.. Because even though RFM and Eisenhuth go.. Leilua and Sua arent going anywhere anytime soon..

2 things can be true at once.. Sua can be making defensive mistakes, but thats doesnt equate to Egan being the solution either... every player has their strengths and weaknesses, you cant mix and match em..... I am however looking forward to seeing Egan in cup this week, lets how he is shaping up in 2025.

Personally I havent really noticed the Sua/Ilias thing, im happy to take peoples word for it.. I'll try to keep eye out this week, but I find tries through the middle half much harder to analyse... there are players everywhere.. players coming back from the previous tackle.. a ruck in there.. its messy...

up there with one of the best off the bench backrower front rower perfromances Sitilis

19 hit ups in 40mins and 172m............jezzzuz christ
that is a hitup every 2mins pretty much...........that is f**king insane...........HELLO MR ROBINSON !!!!!!!
two tries
both within the first 10mins starting the second half
an ANIMAL !!!!!!!
and we dont have one who can run those lines.........great weapon to have close to the line

BUT equally as RR pointed out we really left some yawning gaps for borderline to straight out forward passes

No doubt Flano registered complaints at the NRL

No doubt Flano hammered his FB, Middles and wingers for not compressing our "ruck / backrow " defence

You already writing off Ilias?
Flanagan at first receiver no thanks.
Sione Finau definitely one wing.
Guler has been one of our best starters. Toby a bookend when he adds some kilos, otherwise on edge for mine.
