3 - Mullen. Stood up to be counted. Was the main attacking force in the side

2 - Buderus. Would have been first were it not for a poor first half. Got through a lot of defence and did some nice stuff in attack

1 - Carmont. I'm scared too. I just thought he really stood up in defence.

3 - Mullen (Set up one, scored one and kicked a field goal - Johns' Heir)
2 - Buderus (45 tackles and had some very neat kicks that trapped them in their ten)
1 - Woolnough (Again lead the forward pack and has really lifted his game to another level since he has been promoted to the starting line-up)

I'd give Mullen six points if I was allowed. A commanding and gutsy display.

3. Mullen -- a very gifted player who has had a lot of success already. He's probably like Michael Clarke in many ways and will probably have a dodgy patch here and there where people will question his performance and perhaps his position. But he's a incredibly talented player who I hope plays his whole career for the Knights. Solid kicking, passing and support work tonight + a dodgy field goal. Very good performance from a very gifted individual.

2. Woolnough -- once again a very reliable metres man and tackler. Just as I gave him a wrap, he knocked the ball on. Thankfully it was probably his only mistake in another solid effort and outcome. He's fought his way back from a bench spot into a genuine starter. He might even push for a Country jumper next year if he maintains this kind of form.

1. Buderus -- not unusual tonight. It's easy to overlook him because it's rare that he is not in the side. I take him for granted sometimes. It's only when he's not there that you realise how much tackling he does and how many metres he wrings from the yardage-sponge. He stood up tonight, just as Roopy had said in any earlier topic he would -- a captain's knock that seemed to get the simple things done, but do them to an exceptional standard. Even did some kicking from dummy-half (mostly a big success).

3. Mullen - Things he did made the difference.
2. Buderus - 45 tackles, great out of dummy half. Usual stuff.
1. Quinn - Dangerous everytime he ran, 2 trys, defused a couple of dangerous kicks.

Unlucky - Abraham, Carmont, Perry, Woolnough.
