3. Dureau -- a very capable player performing the simple things right. I'm pretty sure he was the second player stopping Manly's first attempt at a try. He also found room to slot more than one big man through a gap (first try too) and produced a 40-20. Not a bad effort from the bloke who is unknown to many non-Knights fans. Won't surprise a long-time fan like Roopy, though.

2. Houston -- pretty strong performance from the big man. I thought he put a lot in and performed credibly.

1. Mullen -- Manly targetted him to a large degree, which freed up Dureau to do his thing. Wasn't a bad outcome, even if it limited Mullen's effectiveness. He still performed pretty well.

1 - Buderus - he's playing a very different game these days, but still showed he's all class.

honorable mentions.. the rest of the team - everyone dug pretty deep tonight and they hung in there brilliantly.

3 - Scott Dureau - excellent direction and leadership. Showed confidence to stand up when it counted and didn't just took pressure off Mullen - he took over from him. I never thought he had it in him. Definitely impressive.

2 - Danny Buderus - what can you say. Pure guts and embodies every part of the Knights spirit and effort.

1 - Dan Tolar - He quitened off a bit in the 2nd half but his early work was excellent.

Faaoso was close to getting the 1 point but Tolar pipped him due to a fewer number of errors.

3 - Dureau - Good 40/20, good defense, fair kicking game.
2 - Mullen - Good short kicking game, some nice passing to set up some plays, solid defence
1 - Buderus - A Pedenesque (yeah I'm proud of that made-up word) performance. Not flashy, but realiable. Much like you know the old Kingswood will get you home safe and sound, in good time, but not a lot of style
