( all bias aside, I cannot possibly give Dureau points, even though he did some key things in that game, that intercept pass was the biggest momentum killer/game changing play against the run of play I think I've ever seen in first grade at a key moment of the game, and had we not won that game, that mind blowingly ordinary play would have been the biggest reason )
I see what you're saying here Karma and you could see it coming a mile away, but you live and die by the sword and it was good to see Scotty didn't go into his shell after that pass. The pass gets on the outside of Inglis and we score.

As for the points, I can't single any players out atm, have to watch the game again.

Geebus...I really need to give out 10 points today to give everyone what they deserve!

2 - Gidley
Nearly as good as that Panthers performance 2 months ago - and not a single mistake that I can recall during the whole game!

2 - Cross
What a colossus - this is what we signed him for!

1 - Hilder
What a machine, tackles, tackles and more tackles, even dabbles in a bit of kicking and a vintage Buderus pass from dummy half to put Royal over, well done!

1 - Dureau
If Karma gets to have a go at him after a performance like this then I'm entitled to have a bit of a wank myself - i see more of Johns in this kid than in Mullo - no offence to Mullo but his kicking game, vision and confidence reminds me a bit of the great man himself.

Guys like Taufua, Simpson, Pato, would've got 2 points from me in any other game and can't even land one here...well done fellas.

Edit: While his defence is certainly not 100% yet (and going off what people posted last year), Dureau's defence seems to have improved an incredible amount, he was putting 110% into every tackle he attempted last night, and didn't get run over by that Storm forward close to the line late in the first half and even took the risk of tackling him up high when he had to tackle 1 on 1 - they could've scored!

3- Mark Taufua Was absolutly outstanding made quite a few great tackles that possibly saved tries.
2- Kurt Gidley Outstanding as usual. Made plenty of good runs and has had his kicking back since getting rid of the red boots.
1- Steve Simpson Outstanding as usual.

Hard to pick this week. If I could've given points to the whole 17 I would've

I still think Inglis was offside for that intercept, I watched him all night and he was never once behind the ref in defence.

Tough picks this week

2. Gidley - Was all over the place and was his usual top shelf self
1. Hilder - Had an awesome game and obviously got under Quinns skin. Always seems to be bleeding after a game too
1. Cross - Chewed up metres like noones business
1. Simpson - Just kept going and going and going and going
1. Tafua - Hit hard and ran hard

I could have given points to Maddog, Jimmy, Pato, Sau, Wes and Dureau too but a couple of mistakes from them dropped them below the fellas above ..... but only just.

how the fcuck have we not re-signed Taufua.

for the record, Cross got players player and Taufua got old boys man of the match (and made a pretty cool little speech about how lucky he was to be a knight and play infront of us).

Every player deserves a point.

Even Marv. I heard he warmed that bench up real good.
