That is good to hear...I thought STERLO actually must have owned it. Are you putting KK in the same class as Peter Sterling;
Hope he doesn't meet the same fate as the bloke who was asked by Andrew Johns "So you're the next Sterlo".

You've got some big wraps on him Stagger....

Sterlo does own and as much as I like KK, he's still got a loooooooong way to go before the batton is passed on...Hayne is in the same boat as KK with the mayor's jumper!

The puzzle goes further than Keating, Humble, Mortimer and Robson.

6, 7 and 14 are the big questions. Anthony Mitchell is in the mix as well.

5 players into three positions.

With the talk about KK at 14, we will definitely miss our 14 from last year.

Kevvy quickened things up when he came on and had a great combo with MK. MK did the hard stuff which allowed Kevvy to liven things up. A bit Drew like.

We will miss this this year unless KK can adopt this role.

I don't think it would work if Robbo played 14.

I don't see why we would play Robbo at 14. He would not provide any impact. He should start and play the whole game at 7. There's no point in putting KK at 7 during a game unless DA really really believes that KK will own the 7. But wouldn't that be a slap in the face to Robbo? Bit like getting hooked?

The only way I really see KK proving himself at 6 or 7 is if there is an injury or low and behold Robson becomes the SOO halfback.

It is an interesting situation to be in that is certain. There isn't one position that doesn't have competition for spots and I can't remember the last time we truly had this sort of competition.

Aaaah The Mayor....now you're talking my language. My all time favourite. Better even than Snoopy...;-)
I like players being themselves with no expectations. KK is a terrific little player. I too think he'll be a star in the game. I like what I see from him...
BTW Norman O'Neill and Doug Walters were both touted as being the next Don Bradman.
Great cricketers, but weighed down with the load of heavy expectations. In my opinion neither really fulfilled their great potential to the fullest, even though they were magnificent batsmen.
Both Norm and Doug worked for Rothmans. I'm glad Doug has decided to give away the smokes. Norm didn't and it finally got him..

The great thing about this is the players have to ensure they play their best game week in week out. I love the idea of having backup halves that look to have the goods.

For mine, MK probably has the safest spot if he keeps up his form.

BUt you are right

I am a massive fan of KK and i think he will take over the number 7 duties quite early this year.

I also think that Mitchell will end the year in either the 14 or maybe even the 9.....

except in the game that mattered most :(
In hindsight , Parra should've known that play was coming.
In the Melbourne game @ Parra ,Hoffman scored their first try exactly the same way , running wide off their fice-eighth at Robson and straight through him

Well, from all reports I have caught on, Daniel Anderson is impressed by Anthony Mitchell. And Mitchell did shine in a team that was playing very poorly last year.

Matt Keating would be my hooker without a doubt. Then perhaps Mitchell off the bench.

Then perhaps Mitchell off the bench.

Then does that mean KK to wenty?

That is why I think MK is safe atm.

Even if our 6 or 7 goes down and KK replaces him, I still think AM will only be a 14 if MK is fit and playing decently.

2011 could be a different story though

MK has had 2 full years-I think he improved a lot in the last half of last year...
He still seems to me as if he is a little scared to try things. But he has the ability. He is quick out of dummy hald and has an under rated kicking game-Personaly i think he is the best kicker in our team....
I can see him having a big year to be honest...
