Apparently available due to Parras bulging cap. This guy would be a great pick up after Hodgos injury. Can play fullback, wing and left centre (allowing Izzy to go to right) and Michaels gets nowhere near our firsts side. Also he wouldn't be lost at Origin time. Inu had a rough '09 at Parra but the guy can do some really freakish things on a footy field and is a hell of a good goalkicker to boot.
1. Kemp
2. Winterstein
3. Inu
4. Falou
5. Yow Yeh
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace

Only my opinion but I'd love Ivan to go after him !

I read an article about the Warriors being interested in him and I am quite sure that it said that the Eels would release him just as long as the team that signed him payed his full salary (275k).

This has been suggested on another forum and I think it would be great if we could get our hands on him. Especially since Hodgo will be out for most of the season. We SHOULD have enough money free and I think it's a long shot hoping that a good prop comes free mid season that we could sign. I'm not fussed if we don't though because I am confident that Beale/Copley/Glenn/who ever else (except Michaels) will be able to fill the gap fine. However having an experienced (well more experienced than all of our other backs except Hodges) player with the potential of Inu and someone who can play fullback, wing and centre would be a massive plus to our team.

Inu had an ordinary 2009 but got better towards the end and he has a lot of potential to be a great player as he has done some freakish things in the past. Inu is also a player that will wear our jersey with pride and will not do anything bad to bring our clubs name down if he ever played for us. Also his goalkicking ability is great and much needed at our club.

Once Hodges returns and if we had Inu I would like to see:

1.Krisnan Inu (GK)
2.Denan Kemp/Antonio Winterstein
3.Israel Folau
4.Justin Hodges
5.Jharal Yow Yeh

Or if whoever is at fullback is going well then have Inu on the wing. I have always rated Inu a much better winger/fullback than centre. Very much like Hayne.

The Broncos have tons of talent in the back no need to even ponder looking at INU. I agree get an experienced prop or 2 and we are in business.

locky your form on this board is nearing Michaels 09 proportion!

Your defence is feeble and your attack is predictible. =P

So becuase I want to improve our side by getting a TEST QUALITY CENTRE (Inu) over a dud (Michaels) I am wrong..not to mention Inu is a gun goalkicker!

Who says it's improving?

That's just your opinion, which you've voiced anytime you could, even in threads where it isn't neccesary.

I for one wouldn't spend another $250K on an outside back when we have enough quality from 2-5. We should save our change for a front row forward or a fullback if Hoffman, Kemp and Beale fail to deliver.

Inu is a mighty fine fullback IMO. I think he is similar to Hayne, position wise.

He strikes me more as a make shift fullback than anything else.

He played his best football on the wing. Was relatively safe under the high ball and was a superb finisher. At centre his defence was suspect and like Folau found it hard to vary his lines which made him easy prey.

We need another finisher, you can't have enough quality out wide, especially in the centres or wing where we do lack finishers and or depth. As for a prop, yes I agree, but unfortunely they don't grow on trees, and look at Melbourne who only really had Blair as a great prop last year and they won the comp.

Exactly my point. White is an above average prop. Melbourne won the comp with one elite prop (Lima)

The only legitimate reason we'd buy Inu is to cover for Hodges in his absence.

What happens when Hodges returns?

We're left heavier on backs and still light on in the front row ... makes no sense at all.

Look on the positive ... a fortunate 3/4 will get a crack at first grade and will show us how good he is. My prediction is Falou will be the one to step forward and show some leadership.
