Been told he's going to the Knights
what's a proven first grader? You can't go longer than three years for him. He has proven he has excellent utility value and did a good job on the wing last year. But really he isn't a 'proven' first grader. Some will blame Mary/the club for that but reality is if he as good as some on here make him out to be one of the other 15clubs would be lining him up or would've already signed him.
Just maybe the 'professionals' know more than us.
In saying that I really hope the club can keep him as he has a lot to offer to the squad.
Exactly, wouldve thought playing 1st grade means youre proven....not Provan.what's a proven first grader?
Glad to hear, players like him are valuable to their team.Blacksafake
Hes staying be done soon.
Have faith

It's a messIt would be great news if we could sign him for two or three years ...... it's just a shame when we finally start to gain some long long long awaited momentum we loose Duges and Packer .....

Disagree, many utility players killed it, but thats not his fault he is multitalented, coach decided where he will play.Where I was coming from was that he isn't established in one particular position.
He has proven he can handle first grade, especially with his utility value but at FG he doesn't have a 'set' position as such which can lower your value when signing a contract, despite having huge utility value I don't think utilities generally get longer or higher $$ contracts.

MessWhatever happens to Millwits big signing.
This rings a bell!I hear we want Mann and Mann wants to stay. Just wish things would be finalised. Our negotiations are always epic.
I see your being negative again coast Kurt Mann is only 24 so if he's good enough to be signed for 2 or 3 years even 4 years he's 28 only certainly worth while keeping.in my humble opinionNo way in hell the club should offer anymore then a 2 or 3 year deal.
He is a good utility and thats it.
I am not even sure what position he will play next year a move to 1 is on the cards.
Give him Mc Donald's contracted position if need be, because he has certainly proved he is better than that imposter at being a winger. No way in hell the club should offer anymore then a 2 or 3 year deal.

I never once said the club shouldn't keep him maybe you have trouble reading.I see your being negative again coast Kurt Mann is only 24 so if he's good enough to be signed for 2 or 3 years even 4 years he's 28 only certainly worth while keeping.in my humble opinion
I would offer a 4 year contract, and the fullback role.I never once said the club shouldn't keep him maybe you have trouble reading.
It has nothing to do with age its about where he fits in the system and as a utlity that can cover several positions but never really excel at any of them.
A 2 year deal with an option for a 3rd is certainly a fair option for both parties but he may find it difficult to get a run in first grade next year on a continual basis.
