What do you people think about Manchester City offering Messi £120,000,000? I don't think there's a chance in hell he'll pass that up. Also, this pretty much kisses our chances goodbye of seeing a Lionel Messi v Christian Ronaldo game next year... or should I say.... £ionel Messi vs....

Its all just hype, sounds more like a transfer you'd make on FM. There is no way in the real world that someone would pay 120 million pounds just for a single player. Its just bad business, especially for a player who has proven himself to be very injury prone.

If all this happens.

The english press speculating about outrageously high bids for the following -

C Ronaldo
L Messi
Ronaldinho
Fabregas
S Ramos
K Benzema
Bojan

Crazy.

If this is the case the game is being ruined.

Ronaldinho turned them down already.

I don't think anything has changed that much as selling clubs will sell players to the highest bidder, of which Man City will be able to win. The players on that list who are at risk... Cesc and Benzema.

How on Earth will Messi reject 120,000,000 Pounds? Bloody EPL.

inter did the same thing in the 60's ... milan did the same thing ... real madrid did the same thing ... the only game being ruined is the english game so carefactor is none
Gotta agree. The game is as ruined as it can most possibly be. With Arabs in Dubai buying ESL clubs like crazy, there is no doubt the games security is looking sharper with every passing day. Arsenal is next IMO.

Great performance from Atletico, Sinama on fire. Hopefully he can be good enough to cover for Forlan. Barca finally get of the mark, and in some fashion.

Valencia top :) Villarreal have been looking very good, I watched their game last week and saw the highlights this morning of last night's match and they're playing pretty fluent football, creating a lot of chances. I don't know what Pelligrini was thinking when they played Manchester United though, the starting eleven was extremely defeatist and simply woeful in parts (Pires, Edmilson, Eguren, Cani in the midfield; Franco up front!!). I only watched the first half of that match (and by reports they played much better in the second) but gosh I was watching a completely different team to the one in La Liga. Mind you Manchester also started with a surprisingly mediocre team in that match.
