You honestly think that given the options, people would choose to watch WBA/WHU on Sunday over Messi v Falcao?

You honestly think the tv guys have decided to show a program that gets less viewers?

They must just do it because they hate you. :D

It's no surprise given the fact the EPL is still the most popular for Australian viewers. I do think La Liga is higher quality but it really isn't a surprise they focus strictly on the EPL here.

for most people outside Europe, La Liga only consists of 2 teams

used to piss me off when ESPN showed La Liga and it was just who ever Madrid and Barca were playing, rarely did they show other teams which makes it very hard to support other teams

Look I like La Liga and watch some matches online when I can.

But can you blame people for preferring the EPL when 1 v 2 ends up 4-1. The match was so hyped and I was disappointed.

Compare it to 1 v 2 in the EPL last week. A thriller that went down to the wire.

lol watching Malaga beat Real Madrid 1-0
Malaga looking dangerous for a second. Real should be up but just cant find the back of the net.

Don't know why Casillas didn't start
Pretty sure Mourinho is gone after that. No chance of winning the league now with the gap this big.

16 pt gap now. I think RM will hold off sacking Mourinho until the Copa semis in January.

Madrid and Barca are set to meet in the semis so if he can win that, he might survive until the end of the season. But no way will he be coach in 2013-14 at Madrid.

I don't know about that. Real can beat Man U on their day. We're just going to have to wait and see, but FINALLY the two teams will go head to head, something I've wanted to see for years :D

Was flicking through the EPG and ESPN is showing Catalunya v Nigeria tomorrow morning. Given the whole Catalan independence sub-plot in Spanish football, it'll be interesting to see the crowd's reaction. Here's the likely team coached by the legendary Johann Cruyff:

Valdes
Amat, Puyol, Pique, Alba
Busquets, Xavi, Tejera
Tello, Krkic, Garcia

Not bad at all. They'd definitely hold their own were they to play as an independent nation.
